Just curious, IF we sell Oscar to another big club and then he managed to 'prove it wrong'  somehow the following season, will there be a same reaction like in here? Or 'double standard' for that case?

No. Because KDB was not given much of an opportunity here. Oscar has played loads of games for us and been consistently average so major difference.

Nahh, it's not the same. Oscar has been given more chances than he deserved. Four full seasons is an eternity and he's been crap since the first month of 2015.

If he does succeed somewhere else immediately, Chelsea/English football isn't the right environment for him. I think he's better off in the Serie A. Or the Bundesliga. I hope Wolfsburg are hot for Chelsea property again.

No because he got time here.

What get most people is that you didn't give him much of a chance to play.

I mean for crying out loud Mourinho was able to give so many chances to Ivanovic to regain his form but doesn't give much to a younger payer after one mistake.

KdB started his last Premier League game in August 2013, then he had 4 idle months before being sold in January.

It's completely diffrent ! We can't even say if KdB couldn't "cut it" in Chelsea as he hadn't got opportunities to do so.

I don't know what attitude KdB showed but people please remember that Mourinho couldn't stop praising Kevin during pre-season !

That is something to be proved first that it will not ever happened. But, considering the trends reactions in most of our ex players thread when they scored or having a good run, I don't think there will be any different with Oscar if he indeed succeed in another club. Someone will always coming out for it and asking something like, 'why we sell him again?' reaction, never mind how much the time he spent here, because in everybody's mind will only have the thought of 'we messed up again, man'.

Point that he do the same thing like KDB did, if we sell Oscar to Wolfsburg and he did well, how if the same thing happened, City or MU perhaps buy him and he do 'well' like KDB this season? Viola, we would get exactly the same kind of reaction in Oscar thread on ex-Chelsea section. If not, that is a 'double standard' then.

Well Kalou is doing tremendously well at Hertha Berlin and did so at Lille. Look at his thread. And he was better fo us than Oscar was for us, so I disagree with that.

Are you trying to pointed out one of the exception? Look at other ex-players threads I suggest, as I said most, not all of it.

So what is your explanation for the lack of dicussion in Kalou's thread? He is one who we sold who has gone on to score goals for fun.

The truth is KDB is a world class player and many of us at the time were annoyed he was not given enough chances. He was so young at the time too.

If Oscar leaves and does wonders at his new club that is good for him however I would not say we made the wrong decision because his time here has been full of inconsistent performances.

Players like Lukaku and KDB were let go too early without being given the minutes to prove themselves hence the reactions. Players like Kalou and co were sold and got fair share of minutes and were inconsistent but ultimately do I think the move was best for us and player? Yes.

Kalou age, fully developed as a player (no more room of 'big' improvements), play as a sub most of the time in his last season here, play in a league with 'weaker' opponents there, he is well suited with the team there, he done it because he has got enough chances there, we've got better players than him in his position considering last seasons team performance, etc, why nobody crying for him. Think it should be enough reasons.

Again it is need to be proved it first for Oscar. The 'trends' at the moment, would say otherwise.

All I can say to that is Oscar might be younger and not fully developed but he has got more than enough chances here. The players that you see people moaning about are justified by 1 because we know they did not get enough chances or 2, they are better than the ones we kept here (Mata and KDB are better than Oscar).

or 3, we dumped the player, but it happened he could do much better at another team than when he was here, never mind we already have a better player than him or not.

Actually, if Oscar did the same route like KDB, than it could be fall in on your second point though.

Nah it's now clear that it's Mourinho.

Loses player at Real now at Chelsea.

Totally different Mourinho from the first time. He just lost it and is just a shadow.

Simeone today is what Mourinho used to be before.

Sure Mourinho has to take some of the blame, but here's what i disagree with you, i don't think it's all on him.

Would be too easy, but this is what earns you many likes on TC these days, so it must be right. [emoji4]

He's gone but even more targeted, i remember when people told me we aren't Mourinho FC, but he's all over the place. People seem very desperate to reach an agreement that he's a shit manager today and there isn't any threat, doesn't matter where he goes.

I'm already looking forward when he's back in business and his thread comes back to light because of spectular performances. [emoji2]

I've seen a lot lately but what the fuck is this doing on a Chelsea board?! Insulting an Ex-Chelsea man who tried, took the blame and paid for all the mistakes with his job.
That's not the way we treat a former boss around here, shameful stuff, actually disgusted by it.

No doubt he will do good the first and second season. But then he will get in fight with everyone losing the dressing room like at Real and Chelsea.
