zolayes 14,489
It's sad isn't it. I'm the only one that feels Lukaku is not better than Sturridge yet we are willing to fork out £20 million for the unproven Belgian and in the process, we potentially lose out on two great prospects (sturridge and Kevin ) I'm curious to know on whose advice RA is acting on.your not alone in prferring sturridge and as for who advises Roman ,,,could be Marina ,,,Henriques or an astrologer
coolhead23 1,147
Then how exactly is Lukaku a good signing?Probably i m not good at sarcasm ..... He is surely not worth 20M, wouldnt say it is a good buy at this point of time. I really dont understand, United gets someone like Young (no matter how he is but he is proven) for 20 and we are spending crazy money on unproven potential ... Sheva. 5,373
I don't know why were talking about Lukaku on the De Bruyne thread? But if it means anything, this is what Lukaku's agent said yesterday "As for the scenario with Kevin de Bruyne it's rubbish, never has there been a question of incorporating him in the Lukaku deal."Hopefully we can sign De Bruyne, i won't be too worried if we miss out on Lukaku, but missing out on a good talented winger would hurt a lot
lionsden 4,689
Until the board change their mentality of "if he's not established, he can't be a first team/X1 material" this problem will persist and our youth project will continue to stall and remain unproductive.More importantly we would struggle to achieve our vision for the future without incurring crippling debts

ruggedknot 105
"I have had time to think about my future and I would love to join Chelsea, but the important thing next season is that I play," he said. "And with Chelsea there is not that guarantee, but there would be at Anderlecht and they would be ideal springboard for me." - Kevin De Bruyne "He knows Chelsea have been following him for a long time, and Chelsea would be his first choice, I had meetings with other clubs - although nothing more than on a scouting level, but he knows what can be achieved at Chelsea" - The agent http://www.skysports...6993406,00.html More quotes from his agent confirming that despite Liverpool and City's interest in the player , Chelsea is his first choice . Sky Sports also confirming what we knew all along , Lukaku talks are ongoing and is likely to be settled soon . Irony is , we need De Bruyne more than Lukaku the way things remain right now . LDN Blue 7,903
#cfc Kevin de Bruyne is set to join Chelsea, and WILL move to Anderlecht on loan, whilst Romelu Lukaku talks have officially begun...According to SkySports:Chelsea's plan is to send de Bruyne on loan to Anderlecht, which looks likely to smooth over their deal for Lukaku, although de Koster insists it is not officially part of that deal."No, that is not the case with this," he said of the link. Rubber bullets 1,183
It really should be Lukaku going on loan and we putting De Bruyne in the first team, we need a winger like him.
