I expect Kevin to start tomorrow over Mata because this is an important game and only a blind couldn't see how much he improved the team against Hull whereas an unfit Mata only slowed down the game against Villa (not a criticism to Mata... the guy needs minutes, but he's still far behind the others fitness wise).

As for the future, I don't think we'll loan him because José gave him his word he wouldn't be loaned. I know the situation changed with Willian's unexpected arrival - who wasn't at the scope of new signings then because who would have thought Anzhi was going to go on sale? So I guess José will keep his word even if the situation changed.

Now I also think he won't play much, if we work with 60 matches for the season I think he'll start 10 and be benched 50. Out of those 50 I see him coming into 25-30. Had Willian not been here, I'd say those numbers would be 20 and 40 (with him coming as a sub in 30 of those).

Andre's recent performance and arrival of Willian should not overshadow Kevin's qualities.He's a very good player and his versatility may get him a few extra games since the rw position seems to be overcrowded now.

This player has immense talent and should be given fair chances by Jose.It'll be a shame if he gets sent out on loan again.

Why leave Chelsea in the first place?

He belongs to Chelsea and will stay here, the least of the club's concerns is the World Cup next year... He will play, he just won't play as much as he would have if we didn't sign Willian.

Truth is right now he's a squad player with the many options we have.

In a Chelsea FC point of view, it's perfect. He'll play some of those 60 matches - probably something around 10 as a starter and 15-20 as a sub, will grow working under Mourinho - you don't grow only playing, but also training with big managers such as Mou. In addition to that top teams as suggested by you also have plenty of talent in the AM, so he'd probably face fierce competition in most top teams in Europe now. There's no need for him to go to a medium team like Werder again - regardless of which league that might be, except if the reason is a Belgium NT angle. It may disrupt his development for Belgium, but I think as a player he has a lot to learn from Mourinho - especially at such early age. He may not play much, but it's also in his hands to prove he's a viable option.

I don't want him to leave, I want him to stay and show his value and fight for the position. He played a great match against Hull imo and I'm sure Mourinho didn't forget it or will forget it just because we now have Willian.

Are you serious? If Jose did not rate KDB he would not have started him in 2 of the PL games. Mourinho started him against United and that says it all. He knows his qualities. While he is not been playing Mata as much so far, he is keeping him around for a reason because he knows of his qualities. We have a big squad and competition is massive so everyone has to work for their place. If Mourinho never rated KDB he would of let him go out on loan from weeks ago but he stated he wanted him to stay for a reason.

Look at MVG. Mourinho bought him but has not started him yet. It does not mean he does not rate him, just that there are so many good players around the squad. If Mata and KDB stay which I am hopeful they will do, they will get their game time as the season goes on.
