ulsterchelsea 3,221
everyone ok in here? Can some of you check in on an hourly basis so we know you havent ended it all. God above its like we just sold Lamps,Zola,Ossie and Jt all on the same day in here! weve just loaned the fella out. I know hes highly rated but Schurrle is a young, international with bags of potential, its not like weve loaned KdB out for a bag of magic beans kellzfresh, Peace. and The Skipper

It is still ok to voice an opinion here, yes? So dont go all drama and hyperbole.
Styles 9,790
Perhaps De Bruyne wants to guarantee first team football to ensure his place at the World Cup. I believe he's good enough to contribute next season but perhaps the player himself doesn't want to risk it. The only way I would sanction another loan move is if the player himself is pushing for it. He has a contract until 2017 so another year on loan wouldn't be the end of the world. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
On ESPN Press Pass they mentioned KDB has already agreed terms with Dortmund and we are the ones blocking the move. It seems KDB wants to leave and the only way we change that is to recall him this season or loan him in England (close to home). Honestly though, it seems more and more likely we will sell him and yet another player will bite us in the ass. Gilvorak 3,734
Do people realise he was actually one of the best players in maybe the best League in the World this year? What makes people think KDB wouldn't be able have a similar impact here considering he carried his club form into the International level and has already become one of Belgium's best players in his first few starts.Keeping KDB means we can continue playing Hazard in his preferred position out on the left rather than pigeonholing him into the team on the right. Also the CL experience excuse is so poor lol. He's already played in the CL before, what could he possibly learn from getting knocked out in the group stages again? nono 791
Agreed terms ? Lol and here we were all feeling pity for Dortmund just a couple of days ago. Dortmund obviously think they've got a golden opportunity to sign a really good prospect for cheap money. SinineUltra

Popular Post! Hostedenis 556 Posted May 30, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted May 30, 2013 In Belgian press:http://www.sporza.be/cm/sporza/voetbal/buitenland/Duitsland/130530_decoster_lehnhoff_de_bruyneAgent of De Bruyne (De Koster): "I want to end all of the speculations and rumours.""Kevin himself doesn't know where he will play next season, and won't know before next weekend or whenever the new manager has been officially announced and has decided over Kevin's fate.""Ultimately, Chelsea decide.""Chelsea have three options: loan De Bruyne, sell him or keep him in England. The new coach will have to decide.""Only once Chelsea has made a decision, then can we (De Koster & de Bruyne) look at our options""I read all the stuff in the German media as well, about Dortmund ann Leverkusen. But the truth is that we have a great relationship with Chelsea. The club would have already called me, if they would've already decided what to do." yuvala, The Skipper, Stingray and 2 others

Sturridge was good, but it was mainly the fault of the club trying to bring the best out of Torres, which was a fail event. Other then that, I don't think there has been a player we let go that turned out to be world class. If you have one, please let me know so I can rationalize with you about this. Igi26 346
We gave Lampard new contract, so I was expecting another season loan for him.
CHOULO19 24,332
I would imagine our First 11, front 3 would beSchurrle Mata HazardOnce Schurlle is settled in.You're going to be bitterly disappointed, my friend. The crux of the problem here is that Kevin is already a better player than Schurrle. That's why it makes no sense to loan him out and pay 20m to get Schurrle. yuvala, Mufassir08, Stingray and 1 other
Hutcho 8,443
You're going to be bitterly disappointed, my friend. The crux of the problem here is that Kevin is already a better player than Schurrle. That's why it makes no sense to loan him out and pay 20m to get Schurrle. Why would i be bitterly disappointed?I have already said several times i would rather we didn't loan KDB, but i don't see it as as big an issue as many make out for the reasons i have already stated such as:1. Re-sale Value.2. KDB gets to be star of a champions league team and gain valuable experience.3. Schurlle gives us an alternative optionJust because we all rate Kevin highly doesn't mean the club will just put him in the first 11, so in truth he could be just a squad player for this season, so i don't see a problem with his loan deal. Selfishly/impatiently, i would love to see him come here straight away under mou, then become a world beater and play alongside Mata and Hazard but it doesn't always work like this.Schurlle is another option, so it shouldn't be a KDB vs Schurlle thing. They are both Young talented Chelsea players. (if this goes through).
