Stats 7,147
I keep hearing injuries are to blame for his mediocrity yet he started almost 30 games last year but Arsenal went own a title winning type run once he was dropped for Ramsey. The fact is during his best season he was playing next to a dominant player in Cesc Fabregas. He elevates his teammates game just like he did for Flamini, Hleb, Song, Diaby etcApparently he's a central midfielder but he can't play in the pivot because of his inability to defend and limited tactical understanding. Then apparently he's an AM but how many attacking midfielders out there score or assist at such a low rate?Cleverly and Henderson totaled more goals and assists than he did even in his breakthrough season.Sturridge is a better talent than Wilshere. That's a player who's injuries have actually affected his career greatly.Did you see Wilshere's performance tonight? Did not really want to go back to this but had to. England's biggest talent by miles. Take notice please. Blue Armour and The Skipper

Milan 17,958
5 - Kevin De Bruyne is involved in five of the last nine Belgium goals (2 goals and 3 assists). Precious NishC300, jmarlow and BleedsBlue
Stats 7,147
He will start on Sunday that is for sure.I don't think so. It is 50/50 really. I have a feeling Oscar and Hazard will both start then if Mata does not start as expected by many I reckon it is out of him and Moses for the starting slot. I just hope Ramires is not ton the RW and we put our natural wingers there.
harneth 15
KDB motmFor me, Kompany, Courtois or Fellaini were better. De Bruyne tried hard but missed a lot. A lower level than its previous games with Belgium.Lukaku sucks, this is awwesome as it does not improve. IMO,Courtois is best keeper in the world. harneth 15
Bad decisions every time in the first half. When he must shoot, he made the pass and when he must to make the pass, he goes alone... He is often misplaced. Do not seem to understand the offside rule. He groans against its partners. A "headless chicken". For me, he does'nt improve. Fortunately he has a physical power and a good shot. Sorry for my English.

Stingray 9,441
Sorry but no, not "a lot" anyway.I disagree. He has a LOT more first touch. I watched the game again and a bad first touch was only in the first ten minutes. Then he ran the channels. He was ok-ish, but the hate is ub-n warranted! Benteke came on better but turned out a fluke up front. Sooooo .... Yes Lukaku Improved a lot. This guy learns more than most. If you don't see this, you are blind :-) Edited August 15, 2013 by Stingray
LukakutoStamford 779
Lukaku's pass to Pocognoli in the box was definitely an improvement. He held up the ball held off the man and dropped off a nice backwards pass that gave Belgium a great scoring chance. Take notice please.I am not going to keep commenting on individual performances but that does not mean he is awful. If KDB has a bad game should I point that out. It happens. I don't know how good he was today anyway, just know they lost but it happens. I just pointed that out because some of the stuff I saw you write about Wilshere was ludicrous but I commented on the England game in particular because that night he literally carried the team by himself.
