LukakutoStamford 779
De Bruyne will improve city because he brings a world class long passing skill set, which is unparalleled in the world.
Pacquiao 1,834
De Bruyne will improve city because he brings a world class long passing skill set, which is unparalleled in the world.Long passing wont benefit City as they play a tiki taka style of football, where everything goes through Silva, De Bruyne's crosses wont be very effective either as Aguero is short and wont win many headers. communicate 2,703
Only on this forum is playing Navas on the right a better option than KDB. The latter is alot better than the former in pretty much everything. He and Silva will rotate between one another fluidly considering both are effective in either position.I don't get this notion they'll lose alot of pace either. De Bruyne is deceptively quick & is elite in transition. He absolutely burns teams in open space.I actually like Navas on RW better because he tend to stay wide like pedro which mean silva has plenty of space to do his stuff. But KDB bring so much quality to their team, I think overall it definitely improve their squad
Pacquiao 1,834
quite a few Man City fans are not convinced by De Bruyne, i have seen they are calling him a ginger James Milner.

marketing media pet 27
I don't think he'll flop, he's too good for that. But he's not ready for the highest level yet imo. He proved that being nearly invisible in the WC while he carried Belgium in the the qualifying. The same with Wolfsburg... they were visibly the second strength in Germany and haven't faced much trouble to be in that position, so he shone in the league. When time came for the team to show their true colors in the Europa League, they were dismissed by a third tier Spanish side... Of course, I'm not blaming de Bruyne for Belgium shy WC campaign (regardless of how far they went, they were a letdown for me personally and except in one match they played a boring, uninspiring and bad football throughout the tournament) or Wolfsburg disappointing EL performance, it's just it was the biggest stages he had the chance to shine and he was very invisible on both imo. I think he's very young and can make it in the big stage later in his career. I just feel he's not there yet. He may prove me wrong and be it already this season, but given City's usual lack of confidence and competence playing UCL knockouts (when they actually make it that far) and seemingly being one level above their rivals in England, Kev might shine in the league as they may face little competition from other teams, but I don't think he'll bring them to the next level on UCL knockouts..Invisible in WC ? He was their best performer. Stop the nonsense wumming.. zolayes and didierforever
cfcs most wanted 657
There is only one chance of winning the title for us, that being Toure gets injured. City made good signings this year but did not sign the one player they needed the most a cm.If toure gets injured, Fernando and Fernandinho is the only option they have left and with the quality of midfield in the PL, they would be completely destroyed. Gilvorak 3,734
Wait, De Bruyne is Belgium's highest paid player!?!?!?!? Hazard should sack his agent ASAP.
Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted September 9, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted September 9, 2015 Well, KDB did just complete a £60m move to City, of course he'll be on big money. DYC., iseah100, Essien19 and 2 others
Barbara 15,149
Invisible in WC ? He was their best performer. Stop the nonsense wumming..LOLI don't know which WC you've watched, the one I did, Belgium didn't perform well, despite how far they went and Kev was nothing special - just like the whole team. So he was the best player in a completely insipid team? Sure. A player ready to shine in the highest level would have taken the team to a new level (with doesn't have much to do with the result, I'm talking about performance here).I'll stop the nonsense just after you iseah100
LukakutoStamford 779
He was ok in the WC but entire team looked lethargic not to dissimilar to the recent Cupus game. iseah100 and Stingray
