We won't know until we have a season like that. Given how he clung onto AVB until things became untenable suggests that he would probably accept a season of building IF there was evident signs we were heading somewhere promising.

That is suicide playing cahill there we might get away with it against the like of Swansea but not against the bigger sides

No way I want Cahill back in the XI and had Christensen not lost his form, he would still be sitting on the bench but to be fair to him, he has done OK since coming back into the XI.

I hate knocking our lads when theyve lost their edge and the times come to say ta ra to them but we got to be cruel to be kind. And have to do whats best for the team. We do tend to keep some lads well past their best. Whether its thru being loyal to them or just dont have the balls to drop them I dunno.

But hes got to that stage here hes got to do one.

Its strange. Hes been with us what 7 years? and I dont have any emotions about him. But have got to give him some credit cause whem I look back at his Youtubes I remember hes had some good times with us.

Think you can say that about a lot of our players. Maybe things in football have really changed but there's hardly much emotional connection with the players (except Azpi, Kante according to what I've seen from fans on Twitter) these days, like we had with the last batch of players.
