Thought he was our best defender by far. 2/3 good games in a row from him. Fair play for answering his critics. His indecision on the ball still riles me, however.

I also think so. I'm happy that he scored, really happy. I don't think that he will be here beyond summer. We're in dire need of proactive ball-playing defender. So I accepted the fact that he'll play here for a bit yet, so I hope we wrap up that Premier League title and Cahill despite his huge limits, will have a whole set of trophies at club level.

Quite concerned by the number of silly goals we've given away from corners of late - Bradford, Aston Villa, Burnley and PSG. We already aren't scoring many and to concede such pathetic goals only compound matters further.

I don't think he is accepting the draw. He is just saying that a draw is better than a loss. We didn't win so a draw is the next best thing.
