Got to be back for Spurs ,Rammy - Obi stunk again yeserday . Rammy does not quite have the quality for the more advanced role but does have the legs, bite and simple pass ability to compliment Lampards natural match winning abilities.

Van Ginkel had a 95% pass success rate v Basle it is not difficult and Rammy can match that if told to keep it simple and to time his lung bursting runs with Lampard dropping off when he does.

Rammy and Mikel would leave us very vulnerable in this fixture ,I still have visions of West Ham away last season where we were dire.

IMO, Ramires and Mikel would be the best option for this match. In this fixture last season when we on 4-2 we had a midfield pairing of Mikel and Ramires and although Spurs scored 2, we bossed the game and they formed a good partnership in midfield.

Not on yesterday and at West Ham plus Bale was missing for Spurs last season so it was easier and our Three AM's turned it on for the 4-2 you are right though we did concede 2 . I feel sure after Fulham that Mourinho will have seen that Mikel - Rammy is flawed ,Rammy was dire and Mikel was his usual self ,White Hart Lane is the place for our leaders and big game players. Swindon will tell us the team for Spurs. When Mikel plays his record is win one ,draw/lose 2 and after the Fulham win we are due a set back.

Yeah and Bale will be missing this season as well...... For games like this, Mikel and Ramires are a much more better fit IMO. You mentioned the West Ham game. I can play that game too. Lamps was awful against United in the Cup last season and when he got subbed of you could see the difference when Ramires and Mikel played together second half as they were solid.

Between December 08 and April 11, Drogba played in every single League, FA Cup and Champions League defeat we suffered. We didn't lose in any of those competition's when he was not playing.

The only game we lost in that 2 and a half year period without Drogba was to Newcastle when our team were teenagers and fringe players, and even then we still scored 3.

Its amazing what you can do with stats :D

Yes some stats are skewed and some are not ,what you fail to do is present both sides of the story ,like how many games did Drogba play in and score that we won ,and how many games did we win without him? There is honestly no need to look it will be very positive. As it will be for Lampard, class players will help your team win.

In 2009/2010 we won every single game Drogba didn't play in, averaging 3 a game in the process.

What are Mikel's personal stats like in the games you keep bringing up? Ie, pass completion? tackle success rate? and all that jazz compared to his rivals in the pivot?

New breed of Spurs players? :D:D:D

You are making me feel scared ,not . I am sure they are more scared of Lampard them him of them .

Tottenham probably has the most athletic midfielders with Dembele, Sandro, Paulinho and Capoue....

In regards to Lamaprd, I think Jose rested him so he could play the cup game and rest Rambo for Tottenham.

86% pass completion as opposed to Van Ginkel 95% v Basle. It means nothing in that role . You should be scoring a high % .

Your Drogba stats are skewed they do not show how many games he played in and we won ,they only present half the story ,the stats on Obi show what we do with him and without ,you are only presenting what we do without the Drog and he will have played nearly all the games ,when Mikel does not play and Lampard does we tend to win more often . You need to show both sides of the story.

Any team with a midfielder who scores as often as Lampard has will always have a very good record it is a priceless commodity in football . Sideways passes are less sought after unless they come on the back of a Makelele who was a superb shield and reader of the game.

Your wish my command, the stats with and without Drogba in 2009/2010.

With: Played 44 Won 27 Drew 9 Lost 8 my maths make that roughly 61% win percentage

Without: Played 12 Won 12 Drew 0 Lost 0 100% win percentage

There is no point comparing goal stats to Mikel for obvious reason's. Without him we nearly won half the games we did with him in nearly 4 times less games. But despite all that Drogba was our best player that season by a mile. So i need to see a lot more damming stats than results with and without Mikel to be convinced he is a complete hindrance.

Those stats compare very favourably with Mikel's and confirm that great players like Lamps,The Drog,JT,Makelele are always likely to show a positive influence on the team they play for . With: Played 44 Won 27 Drew 9 Lost 8 my maths make that roughly 61% win percentage compares very favourably with Miklels whose were terrible and nowhere near a 61% win percentage over the period covering the end of last season when the waiter dropped him and the start of this.

This season he has been as bad as last season, the difference is that last season he was scoring goals (most part of them were penalties or non important ones). His contract extension was more a gift for his record than anything. One of Mourinhos biggest mistakes this season is his insistence in using Lampard in the starting Xi game after game.

Premature. the season is still young. He will bounce back as he always does.

People forget he's 35, he shouldn't be playing football at this level that frequently and should be nowhere near the first 11, not because of lack of will or lack of skill or ability, as he always gives his best for our shirt, but he's no longer physically capable of producing the high level performances required, especially in a position that we all know is alien to him.

I always wish him luck though and if he plays today I hope he bags a few.
