Term-X 7,891
Can we conduct another I.Q test on him?, might have been a mistake..
petre.ispirescu 4,928
Of all the English players in this world it had to be Frank to help City fill the homegrown quota. God I'm so pissed right now
Term-X 7,891
See, this is why Rio got it spot on, he went to relegation fodder, keeping his distance from United.
The Chels 2,502
Can we conduct another I.Q test on him?, might have been a mistake.. the thing is Frank isn't just some typical thick footballer; he's actually really intelligent so he'd definitely be aware of how us Chelsea fans would react which makes it more surprising. LDN Blue 7,903
You know what? Fuck it. If he plays for City and scores 10 goals while on loan and provides and handful of assists i'll be ecstatic. I hope he does well so we can see we made a mistake.Ffs.I hope you're being sarcastic lol. But advocating Lampard for City isn't mindless to me, the club comes before the player. To the club, and the clubs fans, it feels like a betrayal to me.Oh it's a shit feeling but I can't bemoan a guy whose instincts to push himself at the highest level which gave me so much joy are still pushing him to compete at the highest level. He hasn't retired from international football like a certain bottle-job so clearly he still thinks he can contribute and if he wants to be selected should he go and play in the A-League or the Champions League?Would people have preferred he had gone to Liverpool? Arsenal (no chance)? He's gone to a club who will keep him stronger for longer. I hope he doesn't contribute much but if he's the difference between us winning and losing the title then there's bigger problems.Yeah that's fair enough and again I do understand him wanting to try and showcase his talents at the very top of his game. We won't know what happened between the club and him, in terms of receiving a contract. But I'm sure Roman & Mou didn't tell him he's not allowed back to train. In fact, even Mou said Roman assured Lampard he'd always have a place here... So why not train with us?As for your last bit, he's contributing to their success over us whatever he does. That is already a problem imo.So is this his idea of a "proper goodbye", making his last club in the Premier League our direct rival?I'm sure there are quotes somewhere saying he would never play for another PL club.I'm sure he said that about joining QPR. He wouldn't "do that do the fans"..
bluesman2610 1,417
I was thinking the same thing we are dealing with HG problems and Frank is helping City with theirs and he has "chelsea in his heart" .. Still love the guy but this does hurt some The only place to be

Sheva. 5,373
This is an ultimate "fuck you" message from City to Chelsea, for mistreating Lampard's departure. Lampard should've been given a testimonial match or a proper goodbye to him. Well now he isn't getting a testimonial. He wasn't mistreated. According to Mourinho, Roman let him decide what he wanted. Even at City he's last on the pecking order, but with Chelsea he'd still be rigorously training under Mourinho, he'd still be a dressing room leader and that in turn would get him on the pitch. Mourinho loves experienced players in big games especially.

Term-X 7,891
All he'll be doing is running around cones and using the gym, if he wants 'practise games' with pros he can do that with his uncle at QPR. Beckham trained with Arsenal during LA Galaxy's off-season; why the fuck does Frank need a squad number and a place on the bench to boot. Madmax 9,219
Jesus. I was dreading this ever since he signed for NYC. The worse thing is it's not just emotionally damaging, knowing his professionalism and will to win, he'll hurt us on the pitch and the league table as well. The right and best move for him but I'd be lying if I said it's not a dagger to the heart. kc_blue
