We were Ok on the left, but Cole and Belletti weren't reading from the same hymn sheet' as they say.

Should be OK for the return leg - but they only need a score draw to knock us out -and they've been better on the road than they have in Athens

Certainly not overly worried about the return leg, we know we can get the result we needed and we have the advantage....

Ashley Cole was doing his bit running beyond Malouda but he very rarely saw the ball. The pace of our build up was very poor. I am sure there was the aspect of having one eye on the Final on Sunday and not wanting to overdo it but there just wasn't enough...

was it me, or does anyone else think alot, if not all of them players were thinking about the cup final on sunday??? ashley cole and belletti didnt break sweat, malouda was terrible, joe cole looked to be playing at only 60-70% as was drogba (who did seem to carry an injury, but was still left on the full 90)

anelka looked sharp when he came on, but kalou was terrible, you would think a professional internation footballer would be able to control the ball...

they all seemed to be saving themselves for sunday really

I think you're right Luke, but given the number of days between the game I really don't think they should have been doing that.

Well I thought Kalou was going to give us that needed away goal at the death, but not to be. For our domination we should be coming away with a lead, and I'm not sure changing all 11 was a good idea tbh.

I suppose one saving grace is that we haven't conceded since Villa netted past us when we beat Valencia in the Mestalla - that is 567 minutes of European football without conceding. Not a bad record in fairness.

I thought id post a few pics of my trip to greece although the result wasnt what we wanted , we all still had a great time, funniest part was there fans reaction to us chanting panithanikos started by a group of rangers fans, they went mad it was really winding them up so we carried on and on and on.

Although the players disgusted all of us there , the trouble that a lot of fans had to go through to get there with the snow and all youd have thought the least they could have done was to come over at the end of the game.

i'm warning grunt now, get us fucked by olympiacos and CM won't have to shoot him i'll borrow his gun and shot him myself.

it'l be hard enough to loose to anyone in the CL but to the weakest team left i just won't be able to stomach it, worse than losing to spuds on sunday.
