You are right but Porto will always be one of the best teams in the shity Portuguese league while Southampton could suck the dick with so many players departed. Their best players left them and they changed manager too. Even if they signed some good players(Tadic, Pellé) they have to bulid a brand new team and it's easy to relegate in the Premier League.

Lovren is likely to join Liverpool, Schneiderlin could leave too, Rodriguez is out until October... It looks like they are going to have a tough season.

If they reinvest it well enough (which they have started doing with Tadic and Pelle) then there's no reason to think that.
