Also doing great for Spain. City got him for cheap because of the contract situation in Valencia. Also they are building new 1.5 billion stadium so not sure they don't have money. When did that suddenly change? CVC equity infused 3 billion euros to La Liga with the bulk of the money going to Real Madrid and Barcelona based on how much TV revenue both clubs produce. CVC gets 10% of La Liga revenue. There was also talk of the Spanish government giving loans to both Real Madrid and Barcelona…. loans like in the past just magically disappear.
