!Hazard! 3,394
Oscar - Fabregas - Matic - Willian - Hazard in midfield is just fantastic and at their best they can challenge any team in the world really with their workrate, creativity, composure and flair. But it is really devastating that there is literally nobody in the squad who can even replicate these players in any way! No replacement for Fabregas, Matic, Hazard, Oscar's only true replacement is Willian and Willian's backups in Cuadrado, Moses, Traore (+ Kennedy?) are decent and have potential to be great next season but that is hardly enough considering the lack of backups in other positions.Ramires and Mikel are not good enough for the style of football Chelsea showed in the first half, RLC is not ready and he lacks that creativeness that many other youth in our academy possess and he also seems to have issues with the workrate demanded by Mourinho.Aranguiz, Witsel, Moutinho, Gundogan, Marchisio.....these are the players our squad is really in the need of. Chelsea can still protect the title for sure and definitely has a change of winning it again but I have really hard time believing that the squad is good enough to challenge for ALL the trophies available. We were really lucky last season as there were literally no major injuries besides Costa and it will be nothing short of a miracle if the same luckiness continues this season as well.OUT:Ramires or MikelIN: Creative defensive midfielderLeft-backWhere is that Colkett kid we saw in Sydney or Bangkok? Far more impressive than Mikel has ever been. Even Nathan Ake could be good enough as a squad player in midfield but Mourinho doesn't seem think so probably due to his size which is a shame really cause he is a classy player. nadavTKL

Hopefully he and Colkett will be merged in. TheIceMan

Unionjack 7,531
Ive given up all hope of us getting shot of Mikel and Rami and bringing in the upgrades we obviously need. The only thing that going on about it does for me is wind me the hell up. So untill the situations changed in some way I'm just gonna stay shtum about it. RoyalBlues 4,050
Mikel and Ramires staying, also there is still RLC. No way we will sign another CM.CB and LB only imo.

RhesusReus 219
Mikel and Ramires staying, also there is still RLC. No way we will sign another CM.CB and LB only imo.but none of them are Cesc replacements. we needed a player that could offer creativity similar to Fabregas (not as world class as Cesc of course, but good enough to allow Cesc a rest). I'm hoping Willian is used deeper when Cesc is dropped for rest. He isn't nearly as creative, but he offers more runs going forward than Ramires, and can actually string one or two passes together (maybe, since he does try some rather head shaking passes now and then, killing counters). Oscar 441
I can see the potential in Depay, but, atm I think he is a bit overrated. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he hit +10 goals for LVG as a ss this season iseah100
Jase 43,479
First Jovetic and now Dzeko. It seems City will soon have just 3 strikers (if we consider Sterling as one).

Jase 43,479
Do we consider him one? Him and Aguero up front is very lightweight.Well, he did play upfront for Liverpool. So, he is a ST option for City and don't forget they still have Bony.

Jase 43,479
After Sturridge went down.He still played there and did OK for them. And I think Pellegrini has been using him as a ST in pre-season.Aguero-Sterling-Bony. Do they still play a 2 striker formation? It's Pellegrini. What do you think? He's likely only to play 1 upfront in the big games.
