I'm satisfied with our performance.

Romeu was so much better than Mikel - again. I was so scared when Ferreira was brought on but he played well and Bosingwa was better as CB than as RB. Terry played very, very well. In fact he was our Man of the ,Match in my opinion. Ash, Danny, Didi and Mata also gave decent performances.

White Hart Lane isn't and easy place to play right now but we handled it well. Why didn't we do the same in the match against Wigan too?

But yeah... Good performance and let's just keep this up now. Important matches coming up!

It was a classic performance from Mikel...shielding the ball and slowing the game down. Romeu is definitely a better option.

Romeu is just more proof that La Masia produces the greatest technical players in the world.

On another note I bet more than a few Italian teams would love for a player like Mikel who can slow the game down.

I didn't notice it during the game but the most blame for Spurs' goal lies with Mikel!

Go and watch the goal again! He completely fails to close down Bale. He has the advantage, he could have closed Bale down to limit the space but he just stands there and hardly moves! Utterly ridiculous!

Bosingwa and Ivanovic were at a disadvantage because they were running with their backs to Bale, but Mikel was the key man in that move. If he had done his job, Bale would not have had the same amount of time to run and put the ball in.

The least he could have done was run back towards JT and Cech but he doesn't even do that! What a joke.

I had to miss the game yesterday. I am satisfied by the result because it was very important not to lose.

Can anyone please tell me who was the better team?

It was very similar to the City game. They started off well and we were on the back foot. They had a lot of possession and dominated us for about 15 minutes where we couldn't get any passing going at all. Then after they scored, we had this great chance where Mata forced a save out of Friedal and Sturridge missed the rebound. After that you could see that the players were starting to believe in themselves more, similar to the City game.

The 2nd half was almost completely dominated by us. They had some glorious chances as well but in terms of controlling the match, it was by our midfielders. But we couldn't get Mata and Sturridge involved enough so could carve out that many opportunities from open play.

Last 10 mins they attacked us a lot and had about 3 amazing chances to win but we defended resolutely as we had done in the whole game (except for their goal)

Based on clear-cut chances a draw is a fair result because either team could have won it (Ramires' horrifying miss and Gallas' and Adebayor's chances at the end for them) but in terms of overall domination we were better

First ten mins - complete rape. It was like watching Barca playing Burnley. We were Burnley. I think we had 2% possession (seriously)

10-30mins - still second best, we get goal out of nothing

30-45 - we get some poorly timed injuries, it's all good though we are slowly coming back

45-70 - we are easily outplaying spurs, with some chances coming

70-90 - pretty even, both sides getting good chances and missing them

Our chances were better throughout the game IMO.

Thanks guys. A little surprised to hear that we defended resolutely throughout the game, we haven't been able to do that in most games this season.

Ever since the Newcastle game - where we finally got to see how the defence plays without the high-line, we've been pretty solid though.

To give you an even bigger shock, Bosingwa played at CB for about 60 or so minutes and was terrific

Texting Service - 07537 404 821

If you hear anyone within White Hart Lane using foul, abusive, homophobic or racist language please report this to the Club by texting the Control Room on the Texting Service number above - this number can also be found in Thursday night's official matchday programme.

...might have to report their ''Yid Army'' shit......

Well i've texted them to let them know vast swathes of their ''fans '' need to be investigated after constantly singing ''Terry, Terry Youre a Cunt''. This must fall under their ''abusive '' category.

All the footage must surely be on their fat stewards head cams.....No response as yet.

Ii urge others to text in

Its silly to compare this team to Mourinho's or AVB to Carlo or Mourinho.

Miles apart IMO. I can't really recall even last season when we were this bad (apart from the "bad moment")

Are you joking?

Yes i wanted Carlo to be given a season to rectify it but i think some of us are forgetting just how horrific last season was.

The first 6 games we started like a train we were on a title rebound but after that?

The worst display's ive ever seen watching Chelsea happened last season. Sunderland and Liverpool at home were by far the worst ive ever seen from us. Arsenal away, Wolves away, United away, Fulham away were not too far behind either. Even in our "mini revival" in March and April the only truly convincing display i saw from us was the second half against United at The Bridge.

Maybe if the squad was at the peak of their powers like a few years ago then maybe AVB will deserve some slack but the fact is it isn't, last season we looked laboured, old and finished. Ok we have had a few bad displays this season but all in all we are 10 times better than we were last season.

Delighted with the performance. Both teams could have won, but we really should have lost... as to how Bale missed that and how Terry blocked that shot on the line beats me! Can't - so won't - complain.

Meireles totally outplayed Modric last night. #JustSaying

Think it helped that Modric was playing out of position lol. In the 2nd half Modric started coming into the game more and there was this 7-10 minute spell where he was involved in everything they were doing and it was extremely worrisome.

It was on the same pattern than last year. I.e. they score first, we equalize, then we should win the game 1-2 but we miss an easy chance to do so (last year : Drogba missing the penalty ; Ramires missing his header).

Yeah lol think that be our on going thing with them..hey ho better then a 4-4 draw

And the helmet cameras didnt go down to well...http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/16302414.stm

Jt what a captain ,he is one I would defo go the trenches with ! He steps up even under the outmost adversity.Unbelievable

This. What. A. Player. I dont see any current players measuring up to him in manhood! He is brave and most importantly he does not buckle under adversity. He steps up to the occasion and is an inspiration to everyone around!
