i wanna see hazard over lamps... u guys are gonna kill me for this... but i dont really like lamps taking the penalty.. he ALWAYS kicks it to his left and it surprise me how goalies don't know that.. he just shoots hard.. i like placement over power to be honest

Most missed penalties come from placed pens... Unless the power shot misses the target it is quite rare that the keeper saves them. Also lamps goes with power, but his placement of those shots is second to none. Yes he has missed some, but thats gonna happen when you take as many. Its hard to find someone with as good a penalty record as him, and yes he likes to go to the left more than right, but generally the keeper cant even get to it if he goes the right way.... And finally if it hits the net 9/10 does it matter where it is....

Lampard > Hazard> Luiz would be my lineup though i think the actual order that we will have is this:

Lampard > Mata > Hazard

If for anything else i would want Lampard first choice when on the pitch purely to boost his chances of breaking the goal record!

When not on the pitch then Hazard. For someone so young yet so composed is a big positive that we should make the most of. He will get his fair share over the next couple of seasons when lampard isn't on the pitch and then can take over full time when lampard steps aside.

it would suck not seeing a classic lamps penalty. if i had to choose i would pick Mata or Ash. sure Mata has missed a few but i have faith in him. and that pen Ash put in for the Champions league. it was literally unsaveable. so its either Mata or Ash for me

Keep Mata away from them, I think Ashley Cole should be second choice. Great record in shootouts before the England Italy game and left footers are generally better Penalty takers in my view.

Meireles seems to have the power and technique but I have never seen him take a pen.

Not sure to be honest, But he did score in the two Champions League finals, he did miss that one against Everton, but he did get two huge ones, Especially in the CL final after Olic missed, that was a huge one.

People are saying who our number 2 penalty taker should be with Drogba not here and Lampard not going to always be on the pitch. I am pretty sure, or would hope that no one thinks Lampard shouldn't be our number one penalty taker.
