LDN Blue 7,903
I'd just love the reality shock he's going to get when he realises he won't be the star at Barca and will lie in Messi's shadow. The man who forced out Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic & Villa.
francozola 2,040
You are being harsh,Ribery was ten times worse with his play-acting last night.Yeah you're right, most of the players do that now. Just can't stand him!
capriccioso 2,545
The kid is fucked in the head, as happens 99 times out of 100 with these young superstars. I think he's even worse than Balotelli, who in his defence is at least a reasonably nice bloke off the pitch if a bit crazy.Neymar is a manager sacking, training skipping, diving primadonna who needs not just one but several kicks right up his arse to fix his attitude. It's a shame because I think he could have been a great player if every footballing authority in Brazil weren't on his dick, imo its a bit too late for this to be fixed and he will go down the Robinho route of being a flop relative to the expectations that are heaped on him at this point. Shogun 721
Will be a major flop in Europe I think.
Justin_3d 1,140
I saw the Neymar thread pop up and I was like, oh he is choosing us now cause we are in the final and Barcelona and Madrid not!
Predator 114
If Neymar is to come to Europe, he shouldn't be forced into a top club, should start off slow, maybe at a club a random La Liga club, would ruin his career if he went straight to Barca or Madrid

Hell, even places like Napoli or Roma would be better.
Predator 114
Yeah, somewhere like Valencia or Atletico Madrid. Hell, even places like Napoli or Roma would be better.Ace! Was thinking the same, but if I were truly him, I would just stay at Santos.
capriccioso 2,545
No, he has to go somewhere where he's not the big fish otherwise he'll never learn that the world doesn't revolve around him. A few more years in a team where he is the best player and thus accommodated for whatever he wants, would make his attitude even worse. LDN Blue 7,903
Now that Guardiola is gone from Barca it will be interesting to see if Neymar does end up there. The one thing Guardiola had at the Catalan club was the utmost respect from everyone. From the president to the players, everyone went by Pep's word. Now there'll be a new manager, who will still get respect as coach, but he won't get the same level as Pep. Considering Neymar's ego, and how the spotlight is on Messi (always), it will be interesting to see how they handle Neymar's ego when the spotlight is not on him. I wonder if Neymar will even do his part off the ball, which is a big part of the Barca philosophy. Off-the-ball work, rotating your position, intricate passing etc.

We Hate Scouse 10,326
Looks like Barcelona want him now.http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/336758/Barcelona-close-in-on-Chelsea-target-NeymarBarca vice-president Jose Maria Bartomeu did not hold back in expressing his desire to sign the player after the Olympics. He said: ""Neymar? We would all like to see him joining after the Olympics. If he decides to come to Europe we'll try to make it Barça"
