Tomo 21,751
With Kalou gone, im guessing Raul will be the new scapegoat, i noticed a quiet transition in that regard last season.
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
if we get a new cm mierles (whom i've startd to like recently) will all but most likely leave. modric/moutinho/cabaye or whomever command 30+ games and with mikel and ramires and lamps pushes mierles, benyoun and essien out of door. not to mention mierles was key man last year doubt he want place on bench

CHOULO19 24,332
With Kalou gone, im guessing Raul will be the new scapegoat, i noticed a quiet transition in that regard last season.I've been blaming him since we signed him. Does that make me one year ahead of everybody else?

xPetrCechx 13,571
Napoli are looking to push ahead with their move for Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles after seeking talks with the player’s agent.http://www.talksport...sea-star-175737
Wilson 358
I don't think he will leave, I think he will have a good season this season!

Kinol 337
I really want us to sell him. He was poor the whole last season and has been like shit this pre season. I cant see how that can change. If we get around 8 million for him im 100% sure we can get a more useful midfielder for that price.
Rubber bullets 1,183
If he cost £12 milion and helped us win the Champions league, then in my eyes he worth at least £14 million.Napoli can fuck off with £8 million.
capriccioso 2,545
After what happened in Carlo's 2nd season, that type of experiment is never going to happen again.Totally agree. Experience > youth, always. Unless your youth happen to be world beaters, which ours plainly aren't.Malouda is probably ahead of Meireles in that department, assuming IF he somehow still remains at the club. And Mikel. Duppy Conqueror 1,537
if he leaves part exchange for Cavani then i`m fine with him going to Napoli to sweeten the deal. e.g £18m+ Meireles for Cavani.i wouldn`t want him to leave for £8m straight cash tho. Funkyflashman 187
We're deeper in the midfield than we are up front. If this happens as a part of a Cavani deal then cool but otherwise no
BlueLion. 21,491
Mikel and Essien are away on African Nations Cup duty in the Winter. I don't particularly fancy seeing Romeu playing against any of the big boys during this period.

I don't particularly fancy seeing Romeu playing against any of the big boys during this period.Exactly, not that i trust Meireles anymore than I trust Romeu but at least he has experience from massive games he played last season with us that will be very useful during the period those 2 are away. I think we might even buy a defensive midfielder in the January transfer window depending on how well our season is turning out.
Duppy Conqueror 1,537
i forgot about the African Cup of Nations.ACON puts me off wanting to sign any African players in the future. so we`ll lose Moses aswell.although if we lose both Essien and Mikel we stuck with only Oriol as our DM anyway if Raul stays or not. I see him as someone who can fill in for Lampard rather than someone who can fill in for Mikel..Oriol i`d say is better at the DM role than Raul regardless of experience.
