This is getting horrifically redious and depressing to read.

Ill start with Liverpool, short answer their not good enough, if they could not regually trouble us with Alons, Mascerano and Torres do you honestly think that will change with Henderson, Adam and Carroll? give it a break.

Man.City and Utd have had good results today but its only 3 points when they shit hits the fan, we got as many points fot the Norwich game as both City and Utd got for this, we beat Arsenal 4-1 away in 08/09 and where did we finish? If we can take on Arsenal's invincibles and wipe the floor with them like we did in 2005 we can beat these 2 Manc clubs and before you say wer'e not as good as we were then granted but United and City aint as good as that Arsenal team was.

The top four in the table at the moment, that's how i think the season will finish. And yes i think it's out of us and Liverpool for an automatic spot. Liverpool in my opinion have a shit defence but a good attack, they seem to be able to score a lot of goals, but also concede quite a few too. Unless we buy a creative midfielder this season, and have many playing top form and sort the defence line out, i think we will finish above them.

Who really cares about trophy's that much ? sure there nice but the majority of fans of a majority of teams never ever come close to a trophy in their lifetime of supporting their club . i think we will finish 3rd behind the Manchester teams and we will most likely win something even if its not the premier league . Some fans have got horribly spoiled ( not aimed at you prodigy ) and there could be some positives for not being the top kid on the block for a bit ( not that were even very far off ) that we get some of the atmosphere and soul of the club and fans returning . Obviously we should aim to be and still are up there in every competition in the World but maybe we should use this chance to focus on other aspects of the club to .

I just want to see improvement to be honest, even if we do finish 4th, i'm sick of the lack of good football, we havent played good football in ages and i would like to see something nice from the team, cause i'm getting quite sick of us struggling every match and having to pull our fingers out from conceding and having to get back into the game all the time. true ..in a thread last week ..we discussed development ,,, almost all wanted change of style and progress in terms of age ..

I will happily take short term pain in return for long term gain ..BUT City arent going to go away and we will have to accept that .
