This is not opportunism. In this thread and others I have argued several times the return of Juan.

When Juan he left us we had a very physical team. Now it is different and we need players like Juan.

I just mean Mata is the past and he is not coming back lol and we have enough good players and we must cheer more for them than for Juan...

Don't think he wants to come back, even if he wants it I'd still prefer Koke. We already have Cesc, a midfield of Mata-Cesc-Matic isn't strong enough. But Koke-Cesc-Matic is well balanced for the majority of our games.

If Mata comes back, he'd be an expensive squad player again. (United won't sell him for cheap to us)

Yes, maybe Mata did not want to return to us, but wear this season I think we can serve to see that we need to have many skilled players and have a high quality backup as Mata can help a lot

Every week we play two games. With three quality players we can rotate to make ends season with the team rested.

In addition, over one season there are many injuries.

Kondogbia - RLC - Koke - Mata - Fabregas would be a perfect dream.

Mata played well in AVB-RDM-Benitez era, but bad under Mourinho.

Because Mourinho requests all AMC to defend. However, Mata is classic AMC like Zidane and Riquelme. Also, old and AMC-styled Lampard, uni-functional Mikel and defunct Essien occupied the DMC seat. No fit DMC supports him.

Just scored United's third goal against City in the Manchester Derby. Looked as if he was offside, and he almost took it too close to Joe Hart, but he seemed to really enjoy it, and I couldn't be happier for him.

Seeing him celebrating with the United fans is just painful, PAINFUL. :cry:

I only wonder what will people have to say IF United wins title in next few years and Mata plays key role in that team.

I thought he'd be gone at the end of the season but now they've realise how good he is and the impact when he does play..guess not.Probably score Saturday with our record
