OneMoSalah 8,886
That is a stretch. Sometimes its smart to sell when it most benefits you. And I think that time is now. Really? Because it only seems to be benefited United by the looks of it. Bale went for 90m, Mata is better. 35M is a joke. Christo191

petre.ispirescu 4,928
Horrible injury for Falcao today in the French Cup against an amateur side or something like that! He could miss the World Cup in Brasil...At least now we know a name we won't chase with the money we get from Mata. I must admit I was thinking Jose would go for Falcao (amonst others) with that money. Feel sorry for the colombian, such a pitty footballers get injured that bad against waiters, hotel receptionists or fishermen...
Gilvorak 3,734
People also underestimate how much of a loss JT was last season. He only started 11 games last season. Instead Mata our best performing player gets the blame for the failure. Not the lack of an elite striker to bail us out, the poisonous atmosphere around the club after RDM's sacking or the error prone defending & lack of leadership at the back.Liverpool still have a better record without Suarez than they do with him playing despite their resurgence this year, I suppose they should have gotten rid in the summer right? CHOULO19 24,332
From what I can see there is literally nothing on the Guardian site relating to anything like that. Would you be able to locate the link? It's somewhere in the last 20-30 pages, so probably not. I didn't even read the whole thing. But in the subtitles there were a few headlines including "Chelsea want preagreement for Rooney" and "Poll: Is Mata worth 37m?" and stuff like that.. nadavTKL 1,787
Why fucking rescue United from their awful situation? we're a joke... Next season they could win the league with him, what the club would think then? The Chels

YouNameIt 1,511
This will backfire far up our asses.1. Who gives a flying fuck if we get 35-40m for Mata to "spend on other players". Since when has Chelsea held back on this? Whoever we want to sign, we would sign them even if we didnt sell Mata for that price.2. Some people say that Mata to United isnt a big deal. Well, you are bloody clueless if you claim that. A proper #10 is EXACLY what they have been missing and he will fire them up again. Dont fucking forget they have RvP and Rooney, absolute top strikers.3. We sell one of our best players. Some people are saying Oscar is better than Mata. Well, what do you base this on? Because someone here at the forum said so? Well, let me bring the news flash for you: Mata has created more chances than Oscar EVEN THOUGH Oscar has played alot more.Suck on that one... The Chels 2,502
It's somewhere in the last 20-30 pages, so probably not. I didn't even read the whole thing. But in the subtitles there were a few headlines including "Chelsea want preagreement for Rooney" and "Poll: Is Mata worth 37m?" and stuff like that..Seems like they might have removed it now though. They've still got the article wherein they say United are adamant that Rooney will not be part of any deal, assumingly meaning a pre-agreement is also out of the question. Personally I find it remarkable how Chelsea are so willing to sell to them when United were so unwilling to negotiate with us in the summer for one of their players; they even 'leaked' to the press that Chelsea had offered money + Luiz/Mata for Rooney. That really doesn't seem too implausible looking back now though.
didierforever 7,349
good that the bid is just 35mil... we definitely wont sell him for anything lesser than 40mil. minimum.
Popular Post! Milan 17,958 Posted January 22, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 22, 2014 Do you remember when Eden Hazard joined and how it was instant success between him and Juan? The chemistry between them was just so instant and incredible. I just cannot see it between Eden and Oscar, not to such an extent. Popular Post! chrismada9 1,948 Posted January 22, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 22, 2014 Straight up, no joke.If Mata goes to United, I will have a worse feeling that when Flo left to join Rangers in 2000. Back then, I classed Flo as my true idol, and I can remember crying for hours in my room when it happened. I was about 11 back then.Selling Mata, two years a fan favourite, to one of our long-term rivals is a disgrace, and will be considered a major black mark on the Chelsea board. I love Mourinho for many things.. wasting Mata's talent and letting him go to United is far from one of those things. Rooney is united's best player while Mata can't get a game for us at the moment.
Jase 43,479
No. 4-3-3. Lampard should replace Mata as the backup to Oscar from now on. Ramires in any attacking role makes me uneasyWait, not sure why is Lampard brought into the equation in the first place when the point here along have been about the AMs. It's just that if we sell Mata, then Ramires might used out wide as an option if needed. didierforever 7,349
Mata is a fan's favourite not only cos he is a good player but also cos he seems to be a great guy. i have no doubt that he would be a dressing room favourite too among all the players. the way we have and are treating him is just disgraceful. if players are supposed to be loyal to the club then the club is also supposed to be loyal to them. this move is going to back-fire very badly. u just know it.
