Hysteria 159
I didnt see Ganso playing, but i was watching the world final under 20 and i got a nice impression with this guy of Internacional, Oscar. (Henrique if you read this, what can you say about him? he is good?).
BlueLion. 21,491
Can someone explain something to me?IF we sent a bid, and IF Santos had accepted it and then the transfer deadline ended, could Ganso sign a contract with us?Yes.As long as the Premier League were notified of our intention to sign the player and a fee was agreed, we can negotiate personal terms and announce the deal at any time. TrueChelseaBlue 105
Really hope this deal happens.. i very much doubt it will though.
Amblève. 4,995
Can't see any sense in signing Ganso. He's a good player for sure, but I think we should trust Josh a little bit more. IMO Ganso wouldn't be good for Josh's development

BlueLion. 21,491
I think this may just be the product of Twitter bullshit, at first I was optimistic because deals have been announced up to twelve hours after the deadline's closed, but no way will it happen now, it just seems infeasible. BlueLion. 21,491
Yup, I was being optimistic any deal would be announced in the early hours on Thursday, but since we're now on Friday, this is just a romantic thought.
Joker10 946
awesome player, while watching Santos play last season i was far more impressed with him then Neymar.I think he kinda slow to be aTrequartista(CAM/ #10) in Europe but he would be amazing as a CM, when he has a role like Lampard and Iniesta. He's a pure AM, Riquelme-esque.

He's a pure AM, Riquelme-esque.I don't fancy him as a Trequartista in Europe, as i said way too slow for that role. He would also struggle because he would have less time on the ball. And i agree his work rate and defending has to improve to play as a CM, but he is young so it is possible. termninja 5,290
I would be happy if we tried to bring him in, but he would be a risky one. Like it has been stated, players like him adapt very hard to PL, and not many brazilians have been successful in England. Add to that his injury problems and the risk is even bigger. But still, his quality is undoubted and he is one of the most talented players in the world at the moment.

Though I agree that there's hardly any, if any, room for his type in today's game (in Europe).

TacticalBlues 2,817
Oh dear he's been subbed off 10 minutes in the Brazil Ghana game. He's such a talent but he's injury problems are concerning to say the least. Having a player like him injured isn't just bad for Ganso but football in general. Liquidator 5,176
If he can stay clear of injuries he would be a great signing in my opinion. He could play as an attacking midfielder which would allow Mata to push out wide instead of having to work as a midfielder at times.Ramires- Ganso- McEachranNow thats what I call a midfield in a few years
