Popular Post! Styles 9,790 Posted July 30, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 30, 2014 Good luck to him. I wasn't a fan of his game so I'm not really fussed. Hopefully this allows us to bring in a different kind of striker. bababoom, The Skipper, Barbara and 5 others

HD3D 1,038
Chelsea really can't afford to have a big mouth brat destabilizing the team and challenging the manager. Imagine how catastrophic this guy could be in the typical mid-season crysis when Chelsea loses 1 or 2 key games in a row. I can really see him as that one annoying player who indirectly calls out the manager's tactics and decisions causing bad blood in the squad. After what happened in Spain with Casillas, I can see that as a big reason for Jose to try to get rid of him. dee25 1,044
I'm sure we'll be bringing in another striker. No way the club will enter the season with Drogba and Torres as back-up.........right? Barbara, bababoom and The Skipper
bababoom 4,478
We're milking Everton dry here. Lukaku's obviously using them as a stepping stone but will they ever be able to sell him for more than £30 million? i'm not sure.

MrExcalibur100 7,124
Lukaku : 32 goals in 66 EPL games.Torres : 21 goals in 110 EPL games. All of a sudden, we don't look as strong as we should be anymore. It's as you were for us. If Costa gets injured or struggles for form initially, we're fucked. If we don't bring in a replacement for Lukaku, we're fucked. Say what you want about the player's attitude but this is poor mismanagement by the club. This could potentially turn out to be much worse than the Sturridge deal. The Skipper 20,609
I'm fine with the deal as long as we bring in a viable, different type of 2nd choice striker. A pure technical CF would be very nice. Stingray, Barbara and Madmax
