But much reports and interviews contradict Romelu story. A few days before that interview his agent Raiola said Everton had not received any offer for Lukaku. I guess it depends on how much trust you put into that interview. Beside that interview nothing suggests this is a done deal. If you believe this is a done deal, then Chelsea have paid whatever Everton has demanded. That is unlikely for me from Chelsea perspective. We will see a week from now i guess. The reported fee is very good and 28 years is not that old. If he give us 2-3 years of his prime it will be worth it. By the time Aubameyang declines we could buy another striker. He's playing around with people in the offseason. That's why. It's everyone else's fault they look into things way too much during this part of the year. Just like playing with a team on Footballs Manager or following a club or player on social media.
