Forum freezing issue

I surf this site over a macbook pro, and since ive been on this site I've had the same annoying problem. When I scroll down and reach the bottom of a page in a thread, the site freezes and becomes unresponsive for about 15seconds, every single time. I have tried using other browsers and issue still persists. Can this be fixed?

We get it, advertisements are annoying!
Talk Chelsea relies on revenue to pay for hosting and upgrades. While we try to keep adverts as unobtrusive as possible, we need to run ad's to make sure we can stay online because over the years costs have become very high.
