eldo 868
When Ramires went to Chelsea, he said there is no pressure, the fans never ask for anything. Very different from what happen in Brazil or in Portugal. It pisses me off when I read people saying this thread is useless after all the evidences showing AVB is not the right man.If you dont want the axe on his head, at least recognize he is not this great manager everybody thought he was, recognize he is not doing a good job, and recognize he must improve to honor the money he is receiving. People come here and say he never make mistakes, he has nothing to do with our bad form. Gimme a break, this is getting ridiculous. Is it a coincidemce that another manager couldn't do better with this squad?
Henrique 9,133
Why does everyone point the finger straight to the manage he is doing a fantastic job considering he is working with a team that is full of worn out players in their 30's .The players themselves besides a select few show no pride in wearing a chelsea jersey and no gratitude for the position they are in.Thats what makes me sad. Hd123 5
Manchester United were in a similar position squad wise to us in 2001/2002 and were 9th at this stage. We can't blame AVB he is trying to do a rebuilding job that really should have been started the second we touched down from Moscow.FFS! Manchester United have Ferguson, arguably one of the best managers in the world. Even if they are in League 1 you can bet that he would likely bring them back to the very top.We are putting our faith into a NOBODY who is not known for his team building skills. There is no guarantee that he will make us world beaters, none. He got tactically demolished by the world beater genius McLeish at HOME and the outstanding, superb Villa squad, who are 500000000x times better according to many posters on here
Hd123 5
AvB is NOT doing good. this is a fact not a subject for a public debate. He holds responsibilty but he should not and MUST NOT take all the blames. I honestly think tht this form does not warrant a sack.3 points from four games is relegation form
francozola 2,040
BluesChronicle Dan LeveneJourno: "Was that a bit of a horror show?" AVB: "Depends on your perspective."I'm backing AVB until the end of the season at least but he needs to change his comments during press conferences now. It's clear the optimistic approach "it wasn't as bad as you thought blah blah" isn't working with these 100k a week players. They need a kick up their backsides. He needs to start being a bit more aggressive with them

neel 257
3 points from four games is relegation formthat is why I am saying he is not doing good. may be he is not the person who can lead a top title challenging european club. But on the other hand he did some good things too. within 5 months or so he set sturridge, romeu and mata in our team succesfully. That is commendable and that is what needed for CFC

Nobody's commending AVB at the moment but are saying a sack would be unscrupulous and negative for the long-term. Who would you bring in and how long would it last before we decide to pull the axe again. As difficult as it may be for some to take, especially at a time when you can't see much good you need to look at the future and let AVB build a squad. A aging squad, lacking creativity, making stupid individual mistakes, and inconsistent forwards doesn't help AVB at all. But give him time to build he's the boss, and will rectify them. Bosnian Blue 2,471
Obviously Andre will take the blame since the squad is talented enough to challenge for 4 trophies. His words, not mine. We are in deep shit atm and next year could be crucial to this club's future. Keeping the faith !
