warnie_666 1,081
Cech fluffed the ball. Even I could have gathered that ball. But we blame AVB as usual...

Hd123 5
Well I tried to show you some light of logic to it. I suppose it is your own opinion & judgement that will determine your perspective. All I am suggesting is, if we had won 1-0 then these substitutions would've been more 'logical' for people to see.But we DIDN'T and that's the most important part. I mean, it's always nice to think what could have occured. Even aside from the cech mistake we looked likely to concede

Hd123 5
And we didn't because of Cech's error, not André's. That's how I choose to see it, personally.Well yeah. Andre can't really make a "direct" mistake. He can't run on the field and score an own goal or handball inside the penalty area. He can't screw up an easy catch. But he does influence games with his substitutions and he got it 100% wrong.

Kostas 1,468
Sorry, im trying to find some logic in the subs but I cant. They were really, really stupid and cost us the game. Credit where it's due (Valencia game), criticism where it's not. Which was today. If you could have put out the worst combination of subs out there, this would be it. Well done AVB.Most blatant lack of counter-arguments I've seen on this board in months. Give it a rest.

BLionheart 516
As one of AVBs fans , i was really disappointed in him today and it shouldn't be that hard to admit it .I know the players didn't work hard enough but once you give a look at the team sheet you should notice that those starting 11 have just won 3 very decisive games against tough oppositions , you can only expect them to get complacent and let their tiredness get the best of them against such opposition.Replacing 3 or 4 players from the starting line up would have given you a much more refreshed and motivated team who is still more than good enough to beat Wigan , i mean IF (Torres - Bertrand - McEacheran ) started this game they would all have been very motivated and would have had a point to prove , they would have added much needed freshness and energy to our game .And about the subs , Kalou was the right thing to do but should ve been instead of Miereles or Lamps , McEacheran and Mikel should have been the next subs if we were planning on defending our 1 goal lead as the best way to do it was to control the game and play possession game defensively .One thing i hope AVB has learned is never put Malouda and Kalou on the same field otherwise you lose points that's like a known rule .I know most would blame Cech for the draw but really our approach during the game was embarrassing , we should be winning such games comfortably by dominating play not defending deep and depending on our players not making any individual errors . Give it a rest.Really? You sure?I think it's a valid argument. But of course I will trust your superior judgement, would be silly to disagree with a knowledgable person like yourself. Can't understand why he brings Malouda on every fucking time.AVB said everyone should get a chance. Exept ferreira, Bertrand, Josh and Torres. HRiver 1,512
AVB deserves to be blamed. It is unforgivable to lose 2 points like that and even though it was the defence's fault, we could've scored more had the team played better and had he not made those stupid substitutions. HRiver 1,512
and Malouda is completely rubbish. He is extremely selfish, decides to keep the ball instead of passing to a team mate even if they are in a much better position than him. And it's funny because he thinks he is Messi. He manages to get past a defender or two somehow, but then fails to hit the target EVERY TIME.NOT a team worker, goes for personal glory every time he is on the pitch, when will Villas Boas realize?
