But what a stupid stupid goal to give away at the end!! How on earth did 4 defenders allow him past? And how did Cech allow himself to be beaten at the near post? Shocking stuff!!!

I must be one of very few on here but i would rather see Liverpool win it if we don't. I don't like Liverpool in any way, shape or form but i fucking HATE City, their fans and some of their players (nasri, clichy, kolarov, milner, dzeko) with a passion!

Not sure what to make of that. On one hand the club sounds like it is moving forward each season which can only be a good thing for our younger players, but on the other hand they don't seem to be making the desired breakthrough. Traore can't break into the first team, Piazon has stopped scoring, PVA is 23 but still isn't good enough to play for us. I hope these players don't just fade into the background and get sold for peanuts in a couple of years....

Can anyone tell me how this guy has been doing over there? Is he good enough to make it into our first team? I have seen literally nothing of their games this year.

The longer this stays 0-0 the harder it will be to break them down IMO. Nice early goal and a comfortable 3/4-0 would be lovely. Cech, Iva, Cahill, JT, Azpi, Matic, Luiz, Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard, Torres

Totally totally disagree and would like to echo what zolayes said. There was a time up until very recently where Chelsea had no hope of winning any trophies at all. Now i am a very young supporter compared to others, 97-98 was my first year following us but from 00-05 we didn't win anything. I celebrated like mad just getting to the cup final in 02 and qualifing for the CL in 03. And obviously the likes of zolayes and the older generation have experienced much worse in the late 70's and 80's. My point is, people shouldn't get carried away with our success. We don't have any divine right to win trophies, as fans pre Roman can testify (by saying that i am not in anyway thinking less of you for supporting the club after Romans arrivial) 15 years ago, a season with us competing for the title and reaching the 1/4 finals of the CL and maybe even further would be classed as an incredible season and i just don't see why that should change. I still see us as the club i first started supporting back in 97, and i am sure that is the same for many of the pre Roman fans. Success doesn't go to my head, i have seen to a certain degree us without 'success' (00-05) and like i said the older generation have seen us at the lowest point in the clubs history. Compared to them times this season and every season in the last 10/11 years has been a success.

How has it not been a great start? Ok both the cup comps have been a bit shit but any title fight would be an improvment on the previous couple of years. We are up there and will be right until the end. 1/4 finals of the CL is an improvement on last season also. Even if we don't win anything, top 2 and 1/4 or semi final of CL or maybe even further who knows, is 100% a decent start to Jose's second coming. The nucleus of a very very good team is there. With 2/3 additions in the summer next season could be very very special

I swear to god this guy was an even worse version of Mikel.... he dallied on the ball, could barely pass and never even got close enough to the goal to score! Is there anyone else out there that thought this guy was a waste of time also?
