  1. Agree with both of the above ^^^ Fuck whatever anybody else think. They just look for an excuse because they get outclassed tactically (the game at Anfield last season sticks in my mind more than anything else, wow the amount of moaning i heard from that scummy lot after that game). Yes it would be nice to play attractive football every game and win 4/5/6-0. But at the end of the day i couldn't give a fuck how we play. As long as we win games and trophies i couldn't care less!
  2. I don't mean to sound bitter. Nobody has wanted Nando to come good more than me. I have willed this guy to succeed more than anyone before him. My original post was 'looking through the first few pages of this thread and we were all so happy when he first joined. If only we knew then what we know now' in response to that some guy shows a video of his goal against Barca which yes was an incredible, never to be forgotten moment. But the post seemed to be a defence of him. To say he has been a success. Even his biggest supporter has to admit he has been truly woeful in 70/80% of his time here. There is no way anybody can argue he has done anywhere near what we expected when those posts were made on the first few pages of this thread. Thats all i was trying to say.
  3. I think you are defending him looking at your name... A sort of, look what he has done video i'm guessing. Let's be honest though. The only reason he was that far up field is because he lost the ball and couldn't be bothered to get his lazy arse back. A few important moments (Barca, Europa League) cannot hide the fact he has been fucking dire his entire Chelsea career. Anyone that attempts to argue that fact is completely deluded.
  4. Was just lookong at the first few pages of this thread. Oh how happy we all were the few days after he signed.... if only we knew then what we know now.
  5. I have this saved on my sky+. Fucking incredible isn't it!! Wow, this is better than i thought. The return of the legend. I remember at the victory parade in 2012 i thought, fuck this is the last time i will evwr see Didier. It was such a sad feeling. Then we drew his Gala side last season i thought. Yes!! One more chance to see this legend. His wave goodbye in the middle of pitch at the end of the game that night was emotional, and off he went down the tunnel. This time i was sure i would never see the man in the flesh again! And now this... incredible, amazing.... i could run out of superlatives! Welcome home Didier, Welcome home.
  6. I am getting so excited for this!! come home Dider!!
  7. Shit! Yeah, that's right.... back go the original question then lol. What squad number would he take?EDIT. Did Salah not wear 17 in the recent friendlies?
  8. What squad number would he have with Oscar taking the number 11? Is his first number 15 available, i have had a complete memory blank and can't think who has that right now.
  9. Courtois Azpi Cahill JT Luis Matic Fabregas Schurlle Willian Hazard Costa If we start with this team we will tear shit up!!
  10. This guy may have been the most pointless signing we have ever made. What was the point of him? He played 2/3 games if i remember right? Don't even remember if he was any good or not.
  11. That Norwich goal never gets old. Simply stunning!
  12. Good solid squad player. Fantastic in his first season under Ranieri playing in the Centre Midfield mostly. I remember he scored an incredible volly from 30 years against Pompey. Amazing goal!
  13. The first goalkeeper i ever saw in a Chelsea shirt. Fantastic 'keeper even if he was prone to the odd cock up
  14. I am really unsure about this. In one hand i think, oh my.... a chance to see him in a blue shirt once again. In the other i think, why..... you left at the top. Your last kick in a Chelsea shirt was to win the CL for us. The only way from there is down. Do not ruin it. On a purely football view, can he really offer us anything on the pitch? I am not so sure. An impact sub maybe but not much more. If he is on his way back to coach Lukaku then do it on the training field not on the pitch. He will always be a legend here for what he did and rightly so. I just fear if he returns to play and flops a little. It may take some of the gloss off that.
  15. Why is this debate still going on? I think it is quite clear he will still be with us for the coming season.
  16. Jose proved last season he doesn't rotate his back 5. So barring injury or suspension nothing will change. They won't be rested. If you read my other post it shows how with our versatile defenders we can cover even two players being out at one time. Any more than that (agan like i said in my other post) would be extremely unlucky and not a thing you can really plan for. So if you actually think about it, it isn't 'verging on madness' at all is it.
  17. I get where you are coming from in regards to the 'title winning squads' rather than young talent and i agree to a certain extent but we have some fantastic young defenders here. Also with FFP in full force now i think we would be silly to let these boys slip away. The only way we will find out ifthese lads will cope is if they get thrown in at the deep end. If we start off with a back 4 of; Azpi, Cahill, JT, Luis, Every eventuality is covered. Azpi injured - Iva covers JT/Cahill injured - Iva covers Luis injured - Iva to RB, Azpi to LB Both Azpi and a CB injured - Iva in at RB, Zouma in at CB Both fullbacks injured - Iva and Bertrand/PVA cover Both CB injured - Iva and Zouma cover Anything more than 2 injuries/suspensions at one time i think will be extremely unlucky. I believe we will have adequate cover.
  18. Jose said last year our spending was over and in came Willian and Eto'o. I only believe that if on 1st September nobody else has arrived.
  19. Nooooo!! Please let his last kick be that penalty! Coaching roll only please.
  20. http://m.skysports.com/article/football//9384625 Sky Sports. Reported 15 million to be fair, but above is the link to where i saw it.
  21. 15 million the reported fee. Fantastic price. Well done to the Chelsea board once again.
