Agreed but I reckon Gundogan is better suited for counter-attacking football than Toni Kroos. He fits best in Pep's Bayern and I am surprised there are speculations about him leaving.

Mata was the better passer than all our our attacking mids, maybe except Eden. You know what happened. Don't think Kroos' game is suited for our style.

Still can't believe Kolo still gets his name on the team sheet after all his blunders. Added to the fact that they basically play with no defensive mifielder with Gerrard playing the holding role, it is no surprise they have a very leaky defense. Big teams can exploit that.

Highly unlikely but a Matic-Verratti pivot could rule the premiership for years on. Also Kroos is not entirely suited for counter-attacking football.
