Actually I do. I also feel that Schurrle is the only AM in our side who can actually work as a full-back in emergency situations. Maybe Willian is a better runner than Schurrle but defensively he needs to get his technique right at times.

Costa is gonna need time to settle in the premiership while Rooney is almost like the perfect guy for us to lead the line for 2-3 years.

Can't see a reason why Rooney isn't the best available option for us. Age is just a number and with his mentality, he could do well in his early thirties. Given the fact that we have a young talent in Lukaku, Rooney could spearhead our attack for 2-3 years and we could scout for a new striker then and hopefully lukaku will be well established in the Chelsea shirt by then. A 3 year contract with his current wages and extenting the contract annually based on performances is pretty much the right choice.

Yeah. He did say he's gonna join the champions of Europe when he announced his decision to join Chelsea. That CL win could eventually lead us to having a ballon d'or winner among our ranks, because of Hazard.
