As far as I know, the prime objective this season is to mold a squad( or a team) for the next season and so on. Any silverware this season is going to be an added bonus. That is exactly what Mourinho has been saying at the pressers for the last few months. If that's the case, he should be rotating the squad every now and then but our front-line have been almost the same ever since we found out best eleven back in december. Not that I'm complaining or anything. These sort of matches( like Fulham) tend to be the perfect opportunity to rest our tired legs, maybe even get some of the squad players used to the tactics. I'll be surprised if he choose Willian-Oscar-Hazard for this one.

We have one of the best squads in England. Tiredness shouldn't be a factor But, rotation is not the best of Mourinho's strong points. He do tend to sick with a certain line-up. Not necessarily a bad thing but things do get pretty tight at later part of the season.

Salah's pace could work on the right flank where they are absolutely clueless. Probably a good idea to start Schurrle to build up on his decent run. But then again, we need to see what Salah guy can do in a Chelsea shirt. Fulham- perfect opportunity, considering its a West London derby and all. Could learn a lot from that atmosphere.

The mentality is pretty much the same, I reckon, in all the formations- not to concede and counter. But it sort of feels like Jose does it in a different way each time, for each opponent. The Madrid game was THE most clinical game I've watched lately- something we lack and desperately need. RM- Better strike force than Bayern IMHO.

Fatigue could be a factor and could give us a bad result. Uni-directional is the last word I'll use to describe Mourinho. Last time around, 4-2-3-1 was the only formation used and this time around its fairly hard to predict, before each game, what sort of line-up we'll start with. Also Mourinho uses his team to the best based on the opponents, switches from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 to,even, 3-5-2 even if things get desperate. Last game, he intended to get a draw considering the way the team played in the second half.

He did have a better season last time around under the FSW. We definitely weren't playing counter-attacking football back then.

It's not that we were sitting back and looking to hold on to the lead. More like taking the foot off the gas and trying to attack on the counter. Also we do lack the clinical touch up front, be it Eto'o or Torres or even Schurrle. Has been the story of our season so far.
