One thing I am sure of is that Conte has not found the ideal starting line-up yet and I could not be more happier because it is still early in the season and he has plenty of time to fix it. I am glad that although Chelsea has not played the best football so far, we've managed to get two wins and most importantly I hope Conte has figured out that he still needs to makes changes before finding the ideal line-up. Starting with Oscar in place of Cesc on the bench. Oscar, just like Coutinho and the entire Liverpool FC fan base, cannot be trusted and taken serious because it's always the same story. Over and over again, it's in their DNA, total failures. Oscar, one football match he is playing decent, the next 10 he is gash. Coutinho, scores a scream, the next three weeks he is trash. Liverpool FC score 4 at the Emirates, then get battered by Burnley. Team is solid overall - West Ham have scored with their only shot on target, and today Watford have had only two shots, one of which was the goal. But midfield is a big problem because there is no creativity there and must be reshaped IMO. As most of the guys on here said already, a midfield of Nainggolan (or another similar, dynamic b2b midfielder), Kante and Fabregas would be perfect. But it's still early days and Conte is not stupid, these two matches must have shown him that there is certain players that do not deserve to play from the start. There is no wonder for me that both games had been won after Oscar was subbed off. One month and a few days into Conte's new life at Chelsea, but things are looking decent so far for me. We will be there with the right players no doubt. The attitude is there, the fight, the will, the manager who is the copy of a Chelsea fan on the touchline. Up the Chels!!!

Should be a great match this. Conte and Mazzarri hate eachothers guts, they are like a lesser version of Mourinho vs Wenger. Matches between them two are always full of intensity and goals. Conte has only lost once to Mazzarri's teams, in the Italian Cup (0-2 vs Napoli). It's always been Conte's 3-5-2 vs Mazzarri's 3-5-2 in every match they've played against eachother. Mazzarri has implemented the 3-5-2 at Watford, too, they played like that in the 1st round at Southampton, so it's interesting to see Conte's team selection for this one.

Had Daily Mail, The Sun, Daily Express, Mirror had a TV show together that would be the English equivalent of El Chiringuito de Jugones.

Both, definitely. It was the best display I've ever seen from a foreign team playing away against a Romanian team in European competitions in terms of chances created. It was tons. City and Guardiola have been together for only a month and a half, still not gelled enough yet. But if this was December or January, I think they would have scored at least 10.

City played in Bucharest last night, won their 1st leg against Steaua 5-0 and they've basically qualified for Champions League football. Due to the big corruption in Romanian football this league is rubbish - low attendances, low TV ratings, people are simply not interested in football anymore, although this is a country with a population of 20 million. Eight, ten years ago this league used to be similar to the Premier League in terms of league title candidates, there was always at least six teams at the start of the season pumping big money in transfers and wages, all with equal chances to win the title. Fans would go to the stadium, the atmosphere would always be hot. But not anymore since corruption took over and made it possible for most of the big teams to disappear, some of them representing the country's biggest cities. All this to make room for the tin pot clubs founded with money from the local council, ready to bow down to the corrupt sharks from the Romanian football association and pump money into their accounts. Now there are only two big clubs left, Steaua and Dinamo, but these two can't compare to each other in terms of football levels because Dinamo almost went bankrupt a year ago and now they are in a process of reconstruction. Last night it was the most embarassing defeat at home in Steaua's history of playing in European competitions. Not only the 5-0 score, but the manner City did it, they completely humiliated Steaua. The truth is that this is a consequence of the state of Romanian football and Steaua was blown out of the park. City scored two (Silva, Aguero), missed two penalty kicks (Aguero x2), hit the post three times and had another two or three huge chances. All this in the 1st half. 2nd half was the same, City scored three times and had tons of other chances. It was attack after attack, after attack, after attack. It ended 5-0, but Steaua should consider themselves lucky because they avoided a bigger humiliation, City should have scored at least 10 last night, if not more. This is how City have looked last night. So they've basically started in a 4-3-3 formation and pretty much looked the same when defending, with Nolito and Sterling coming to help the full backs. But the tactics changed when going forward. It was a super high line of three defenders with Otamendi, Stones and Kolarov, a full back who we know he likes to bomb forward, but this time restricted from offensive duties. Zabaleta, a right back when defending, went to play as a central midfielder everytime when City attacked, while Sterling stayed on the right wing, coming inside and making runs in behind the defenders. Nolito played the same role on the left, only he was given more of a free role, further up the pitch, was more of an inside forward, rather than a left midfielder. Silva, De Bruyne and Fernandinho the attacking midfielders. It was constant pressure from City and Guardiola stated in his press conference after the match that he hates to play without the ball, this is why he prefers to harras the opponents and take the ball from them as soon as possible. Pitch size didn't help Steaua either - match was played in the biggest stadium in Romania and the pitch size is exactly the same as in the Bernabeu and Camp Nou, something we know Guardiola adores.

Sounds like Danny Higginbotham and Martin Tyler in that video, so it must probably be NBC.

Hahah, yeah mate, loved that movie. My favourite part was when he's found out his wife died, cracks me up everytime haha. The kissing thing is actually very common here in Eastern Europe, especially when meeting older people you know or people you've just met and been introduced to. But it's done frequently between young people, too. Boy-girl mostly, but boy-boy as well, when they are very close friends. Going West, I think the tendency is the "one cheek kiss" only, but we do both cheeks. This is why it's funny because I've met a lot of foreigners and they didn't expect this kind of greeting, they were used to the "one cheek" kiss and that's it haha. Kind of force them to go for the other one, too, but you know, this is how it's done here haha.

Was afraid of this.......

My name a Borat, I like a you, very nice

Loved the intensity and the pressing game. Players looked like rabbid dogs, always first at the ball, always high up the pitch looking to cut the passing channels and recover the ball as quick as possible. There is this hunger that I haven't seen in Chelsea for a long time, long it may continue. Clearly there is no way they can keep the same explosive rhythm throughout the whole season, but having no European competition is a blessing in disguise for Conte in his 1st season. Up the Blues oh and West Ham was rubbish, a draw would have been a totally undeserved result.

Oscar?!

Rotherham have a piss poor squad, should be a regular starter there.
-
Batshuayi the only back-up striker and Zouma, who is not even fit to play and Aina the only two back-up defenders. Clearly there is a striker coming these days and at least one defender. Let's see if it's Lukaku and Koulibaly, or another Djilobodji and Baba Rahman. Although it would be pretty stupid to loan some squad players just to buy some other squad players.

He is actually VERY GOOD with the ball. He was the ball playing defender in that partnership, not Albiol. Carries the ball from defence with ease.

City v Sunderland was so boring. Dull football in front of probably one of the worst support in the league. First match of the season, every football fan waited for this for months, Guardiola is now the manager, they've invested over £160m in transfers this summer. Still that stadium is half empty or an absolute graveyard. Heard that there was even radio adverts with tickets on general sale for this game. Amazing. Was expecting something else from Guardiola, more urgency upfront, take the league by storm, show the people he's arrived here and ready. But instead it was sluggish and any other team with a bit more talent and a decent manager would have taken something from this game. And David Moyes - what an idiot. I'm not saying Djilobodji is the 2nd coming of Beckenbauer, but he's had a full pre-season under Conte and ready to step in. What Moyes does? Brings in that donkey Paddy McNair. Not only he's a fucking tool, but scores an own goal, too.
