  1. hopefully! I don't want anyone to favor us, but I can't stand when they rob us like that. It was one of the worst (and most biased) officiating I've seen in a while.
  2. I could eat shit after that match. I was so angry on frigging Webber. I better change the subject, I can already feel the blood boiling. They're winners, I won't take that away from them. But I hate them anyway.
  3. it helped a lot. I bookmarked the page so every time I need a refresh I'll come back
  4. Well I think I was 10-11 when I learned about it. I had a discussion the other day when there was a controversial case in Brazil - I guess last year. I was shocked to know so many people were confused about the rule. The rule is quite simple, but when I was a kid it was difficult for me to understand. I remember Algeria was the only team I had all stickers in the stickers album I tried to complete for 2010 WC so I had a special spot for them, hahaha United losing anything to anyone is always something to celebrate If there's one thing I think it's amazing about sports is having at least one rival as much as you love the team (sort of as much). In England that's ManUtd to me.
  5. Mourinho did an amazing job with Inter. We've been going through a difficult moment there for a couple of years, but we'll rise again. Inter is the first international team I supported in my life. I remember every Sunday I woke up and turn on Bandeirantes (Brazilian's network) to watch Serie A. I was 9 then and I watched whoever played, not only Inter. Normally it was ten in the morning the match... but sometimes it was 11 or 12 and I remember mom having to drag me from in front the TV - I ate crying many days (in my house no one watched TV while having Sunday lunch, it was family time) because I wanted to keep watching. I remember it took me almost one year for my uncle to finally make me understand the offside rule. Football marked my childhood. I really love this place, the place itself it's a breath of fresh air for me We were the underdogs then. Bayern played so much better - just like in 2012. They dominated, but it only makes it much greater that in both cases we ended up the winners. Football is amazing... I cried much more in 2008 than in 2012 (relating to Chelsea). I was inconsolable for longer than a week. I already hated ManUtd with a passion, but ever since it's in unhealthy levels. edit: I remember that press conference as well. It was one of the occasions that came to mind when I wrote the article about him coming back to Chelsea. I'm really a Mourinho fan. I really admire this guy. He will always have my respect.
  6. memories!!!! *crying again* *goosebumps all over the body* I cried so much - more than when Chelsea won. That day is one of the most memorable days of my life thanks for the vid
  7. I think he's very good defensively. I think he always does his best. He runs and gives everything. Can't cross or dribble for his life though
  8. I must to really dislike his ability to cross as I've never realized until now how beautiful César actually is I really dislike his attacking abilities and I wouldn't mind a new RB at all, but damn, he's pretty. Can Mourinho do some magic here?
  9. I don't think it was the priority. I think they have targets and as the bids are accepted they'll confirm the deals. I guess Andre's just happened to be the first bid that got accepted, not the priority. They're thinking long term here. Instead of counting only in forming new talents, they're aiming team's young talents so they can mold them in Chelsea. It's more expensive, but still it's less money than buying them when they're on their prime. Also with a manager like Mourinho, they should keep investing in boys under 21 imo, but of course we need a new reinforcements in a few positions that I wouldn't mind finding someone already ready. I like the new policy
  10. When I look back to a few matches we played: Swansea (EPL away - I guess), QPR (both matches) and a few others yes, I think we have huge scoring issues. Mazacar made up partially for Torres suckery and Ivan and Lamps also helped, but we can't depend on those guys to score. Mazacar makes sense, but not Lamps and Ivan... we lost, draw and even won a few tight score matches because of our inability to score, Torres or not Torres. We need a matador ASAP. A 6 in Brazil is a LB - what you're describing is what we could call a 5 or 8. A 5 is more defensive while a 8 is the guy I think you mean. We need a Xabi Alonso. Can't we have Xabi Alonso himself? I agree with you, but I'd be happier with a Cristiano Ronaldo more than with a Xabi Alonso at this point. Mourinho can make one of our boys the next Xabi Alonso, I'm sure because the boys are talented and special.
  11. I just trust Mou to build up a formation that will make up for the lack of a better DM. It's easier to teach a guy to tackle (as we do have a few fast guys like Oscar, Kevin, Ramires) properly and improve his pass quality rather than improve his finishing - imo. I'm not saying we don't need both - I think we need both + a full back if we don't want to have squad issues, but last season proved we really sucked scoring... Mourinho's teams are built from the CB/DM section and over. So I trust he will find a way with the players we have if we don't get a better DM. Now I really don't believe with the players we have he could fix the scoring issue.
  12. I prefer Eden as a 7 but you know him better than I, so you're probably right about the 10.
  13. I guess - but I'm not sure because I didn't watch the match - that's how he's playing or Brazil now, behind Hulk and Neymar. But I'd actually have to watch Brazil playing to be sure of it.
  14. @The Skipper, I agree about El Sharaawy
  15. I think we need more than a great DM. I still think our worst problem is a FW, Schurrle helps, but doesn't solve based on what I read about him.
  16. Welcome, Dustin. Let's have tons of fun together here. I can't wait. I can't believe it took me two weeks to convince you to come (also, everybody here knows my name, you can use it instead of my screename)
  17. I'm waiting for the black kit to be available on the store recommended by the site - so I can contribute financially with it somehow, to buy my Eden's. I'm going to buy the traditional blue as well, but Lamps'. I check the site almost everyday to see if the black kit is already there, but so far I could only find the white one - that I don't happen to like.
  18. Belo Horizonte! My fave Brazilian capital, in the most amazing Brazilian state. Whoever goes to watch Tahiti x Nigeria should get a vacation package to Tahiti #incentive
  19. yes, Cavani was underwhelming, but how much is his fault and how much is his team being completely dominated by a much more superior Spain?
  20. well, he plays the finest football imo, so I don't care much about his lack of hair. I really like him. a lot. It's a shame he's a Barça player
  21. I really like Iniesta. He rarely suffers from diving/acting syndrome as his fellow Barça players. He's class - except when bitter for losing for Mou that is. But then again Spaniards are known for bitter behavior.
  22. oh I misunderstood you then. Sorry
  23. It's much harder for me to like Spain when Xabi isn't in the team. I hate most Barça players, the RM players I like behave like Barça players when they play for NT... Kill me!!!! That's why I won't be supporting them again next WC. They were my fave in 2010 but now I can barely stand them. And the worst part, they're so superior, they don't need the stupid act. I'd be embarrassed to do what they do. Give Soldado, Alba and Cesc an oscar already or a medal for ornamental diving. They totally excel in both. No opportunity is ever missed with you, Torres should learn from you
