  4. FSC has it but on tape delay, at 5 pm but I'm at work and it won't let me access any of the the feeds
  5. WOW! What a game! We did it!! I want a game that we are in control and in the lead the whole game!!!! LOL This stress is difficult!! All this excitement and frayed nerves and it isn't even noon yet!
  6. MALOUDA!!!!! Love that shot!! :blue scalf:
  7. this ref sucks! this game is frustrating! Goodness so many chances and so few goals!
  8. I remember it well, I had friends who worked in the Trade Center (luckily made it out alive) and we lived in Pennsylvania, about 200 miles from where the 4th plane crashed. It was incredibly eerie afterwards when there were no planes flying (we were 5 miles from an airport) and trying to find out if people were okay. I will always remember and always pray that we never have to experience that again.
  9. Here's my question, in the 5 years this has been in arbitration he couldn't have put away that kind of money??? Really? Do you honestly believe he couldn't have saved enough? I find it hard to believe that he couldn't have put aside at least a healthy portion of the money given what footballers make. I think he just believed that there was no way they would make him pay that kind of money.
  10. I say that about bosingwa all the time.... the man is the need of some serious manscaping!!
  11. ESPN is only airing the early morning games here (the ones that air around 6-7 am Central standard time) so it's not as easy as it sounds to find. I missed the first one but caught the burnley game! I don't want to get up that early on a non- work day!
  12. always family first, then friends, then football... I have never understood those who don't value family (either the one God gave you or the one you've made for yourself) over everything else... we need those that love us most of all.
  13. Hi, welcome!! I had 4 semesters in college (almost 20 years ago) and I can honestly say that it is very difficult to learn as a second language, but I loved learning it. Our professor used to say that if we didn't use it then we would lose 1/2 of what we knew every 3 days... which means I have very little knowledge left! I look forward to getting to know you better. Kerry
  14. LOL now there's friendship for you! I'll put Alex on the list, I think he's a cutie... (Can't have anyone thinking he's editing anyone's posts now can we???)
  15. Have you tried allrecipies.com? I've heard of an applesauce cake, but i can't remember if it's just low calorie or if it's low sugar too. I'll also ask at work if anyone has one we have a few folks on low sugar diets. It think they use splenda (sugar substitute) in some of their cooking tho.
  16. don't know that I can add any, could argue a few but to each her own right?? Did anyone mention Josh Lucas? Colin Firth?
  17. I teach Chemistry (Traditional, Honors and AP) at a Catholic high school
  18. sounds wonderful!! I'm glad you had a good time! I'm very green with envy!!! Why are you on crutches by the way?
  19. Didn't JT do a loan stint as a youth? For Nottingham Forest if I remember correctly. They need to get experience before getting thrown into the PL. It only serves to improve their game. Loaning the youth doesn't mean they are trying to get rid of them.
  20. Well, that is what he gets for being stupid. Should have been working on a solution for this outcome even while he was appealing his case. IDIOT! I just can't bring myself to feel sorry for him at all.
  21. I usually go to skysports.com for my football news. Fox Soccer Channel is okay, but their articles are more biased than the sky articles, trust Americans to pick a side when the report the news! In the US, you can catch the sky sports report on FSC at 7 pm EST/6 CST weekdays
  22. I belong to Chelsea in America and it's a good group of folks who come out in force when the team is in the US and they have their own board and website. They have subgroups based on geography because the US is so big and some of them are very very active and meet up for games at local pubs (sometimes at 5 a.m. to catch them live!) I guess it just depends on where you live Ray. I dragged my entire family into my Chelsea obsession, my babysitter, and several of my students! So they are who I talk to. The footballers fromt he school I teach at all know that I love the game and will talk about it and have a decent understanding of the game and the players. Now when there are games they seek me out to talk about the games especially if their team plays Chelsea. So, I guess you can also make your own community too, similar to what CheseaBoi did. Kerry
