The media is the worst... they slant everything! US news is very panic inciting, one sided and very pro-democratic. I hate it and the way that they portray things. I usually get my news from the internet and hit several news sites in several countries and hope to get a balance picture from that.

I understand what you mean. It has been so frustrating to be so close and not be quite able to reach the prize. I wish we could have kept Guus and I think this season would have been awesome!! I respect him for honoring his commitment to Russia though, shows his character. Carlo... I am hoping the substitutions have been a preseason thing and he won't substitute unless it is absolutely necessary. I hope that his vision works and that the team can find that spark that has been missing or fizzled the last few seasons. Forgiven for the "Darling" thing. It is just a pet peeve of mine... living in the US and in the South it isn't always the most complimentary of phrases and it's used to make you feel like "the little woman who needs to be taken care of" ... I think we can win it. I pray it doesn't go to penalties, because lets face it, they are not our best performances. I'd like to see Terry score, but he's my favorite and that is the only reason. I don't think there is ever a chance to "make" up a missed opportunity. I don't think ManU is unbeatable, I'm sure SAF would love us to believe that... he likes his mind games. Anything is possible. Gary, you're right you are entitled to your opinion, I think we're all wondering why you support Chelsea if you have nothing positive to say. Give Ancelotti a chance, we have yet to see a regular game and his "final" squad. If the fans give up before the season even starts that makes us pretty damn poor fans. Personally, I will believe we can win no matter what, but I am a glasses is half full kind of person and I will put my full support behind my team. I will support the manager until I've been given more proof than 1 game that his method isn't working!
