New school shoes for my son who is now taller than me and has feet the same size as his dad! I'm not ready for him to be taller than me and certainly don't look forward to having to look up to see his face!! shopping for airline tickets for my summer trip home and my niece to come visit.

I'm with Blue Lion, I don't need Valentine's day to show my husband I love him or for him to show me. I see it (and give it) in the little things we do for each other. Like the day before Valentine's day when he went out looking for carnations for me so that I could have my science club kids learn how to dye them pink! I let my parents know all the time that I love them and I show my love to my kids every day, again in the little things. These are "Hallmark" holidays that were designed to increase revenue for flower shops, candy shops and card stores! Right now I am just hoping it will be a BLUE weekend and we can get out of this slump we are in.

Sorry to hear that How far along is she? The first trimester is usually the worst. I have to admit my two pregnancies were relatively easy compared to some I have heard about and consider myself blessed and blessed that my husband didn't consider me a nightmare when I was pregnant.

I know what you mean! Fevers make me feel helpless. How's Jack today? Mac is better but still very quiet compared to her usually bouncy self! I suspect she just needs some more rest and will be right as rain.

I have to say I don't understand why Suarez hasn't been investigated by the police and why they are dragging out due process for JT. Suarez was guilty and everyone knows it but nothing came from it from a legal standpoint. Is that because it was between a player from Uruguay and a player from France and not two English players? If so there is something wrong with that. I realize I have stirred up a hornets nest and I apologize but really this just confounds me.
