Thanks for giving a natives perspective, Steve. This is something I really cannot relate to. In the Southeastern US we have alligators but rarely do you hear of an attack on a human. I think it is as you said a case of heeding the posted warning signs and understanding the danger. I think your crocs are bigger and more dangerous than our alligators though! Hello and welcome! If you want to learn about the game and the team this is your place! Lucky bastard! You guys do good stuff in CS, we do ICT. It's complete bs! We do iGCSE (it's the British curriculum). So I often study extra math online (as much as I can) or do some programming online (planning to start Python soon). Bull crap, I have been here for nearly six years and watched my name be bandied about this month like I was a newbie who knows nothing and to be honest I am sick and tired of people standing in judgement of each other based on how long you have been here. By that standard everything I say should taken as the remaking of the gospel! Get the hell over youselvrs and wake the hell up! Nervous and hopeful, picked up the inserts for my shoes to correct a one centimeter difference in my hips and align my feet properly. They are supposed to fix my posture and hopefully end my knee and hip pain which I have had most of my life. I really want it to work but really am afraid to get my hopes up. The doctor said I may have a period of adjustment and need some physio to losen the tension in my muscles as they have been trained to correct the imbalance for all this time. YIKES! How did no one catch this for 30+ years?

I worry that we will see injuries all the international games leading up to the WC and honestly that makes me nervous. I would rather have a larger squad then face the uncertainties we did in that injury riddled season. I am certainly content to wait until January because most of those injuries happened in November/December that year and yes I am superstitious as all hell ....those two months make me nervous!

Why is it that someone says "no offense meant but" right before they are rather insulting? What I find offensive is that everyone who has an issue with my nomination feels free to sling mud at me and expects me to just brush it off. If you have a problem with the system that is fine but don't use me as your scapegoat. I did not nominate myself nor do I ask to be nominated, and I don't even want to win because I know if I do it will be either a pity vote or some freak accident, because I don't deserve it. Having said that those of you that have voted for me please change your vote so I can go back yo my peaceful existence. Honestly, I thought it was a running joke between DDA :*) and myself for the longest time and did not expect to ever see it go any where. Still think it was an awfully sweet gesture to want to see the old girl win the award after being here for years.

Nish A lot of education systems stifle creativity and don't teach students to think for themselves. In the US I was constantly asked why I did not "give" a student a few points to bump their grade up so they could do a little better or why I made them work so hard or do things that made them think. I had a hard time resisting the urge to shake the parents! LOL

I think Alex is trying to institute that as part of the MOTM, because we all recognize that a handful of people seem to get more recognition than some others who have quality posts but maybe not quantity of some of the others. It is always a pleasant surprise to be nominated (thanks DDA for your campaign!) but I realize that the majority of my posts are not football related. Although I feel fairly knowledgable about football, I learn far more from reading your posts than I can contribute! So I contribute where I can and where I know my knowledge is good enough not to leave egg on my face! no worries though there will be no pouting for me if I never become MOTM because I just like being here.

Spike, I suspect so where in your educational past is a really crappy Maths teacher that made you hate Maths. He/she may have been okay for others but for you was not the right fit and for some that can spoil any ability they have in Maths. We all have it but one or two poor teachers can ruin it for you.
