My fear is simple: NO CRUMPLE ZONE Well, it is more of a family car and in a very different stage of life! Today is my 19th wedding anniversary! (Scary since some of our members are not that old!) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

A Rogue, right? I had the bigger version, the Murano, before we moved and absolutely loved it. Handles great, I liked the way things were on the inside (gauges, radio, etc). It had leg room for passengers which when you have two people over 6 foot is a must! Plus, I occasionally had to haul around football players and gear so again having room was great and why we needed the bigger one! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Exactly like Stingray said. Some people are excellent at learning the theory but not so good at putting it into practice. And so usually some get discouraged after the first year(s) because it's mostly full of theoretical knowledge and after that followed by something practical. Maybe you are the second type and just have to give your max to be good at theory to shine at practice. Stingray a and ShineUltra are right. The only thing I can add as a teacher is that you look at your study methods and revision. Is there any room for improvement? Not everyone learns/studies the same so one technique may work for me but be utter rubbish for you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

It will take quite sometime for me to be able to travel to China though. Too expensive! But all you need is airfare...and spending money Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

That sounds really bad (for a match to be cancelled)... I found Sao Paulo's air to be bad enough and it is not even close to the pictures I see of Beijing. I wonder how people dont get all sorts of respiratory problems living in that kind of city! P.S: I dream of visiting Shanghai someday. Specially after the last 007! Just let me know! I'll play tour guide! The road bond drives on is the one I used to live on Yan'an Lu! We moved over the summer. Over time people do develop breathing problems. The average age Chinese people start having problems westerns associate with age is 30! So 15 to 25 years before Americans! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Must be hard since you're in a foreign country. What does your husband do, btw, if you don't mind me asking? It is and worse when he goes to the US. He is the HR director of Asia for his company. So travel is frequent but usually within Asia and less than a week. It was much worse about six years ago, he traveled 5 days a week and was only home on the weekends. Kerry, how is the pollution in China though? Depends on the day, today wasn't too bad but Thursday and Friday were awful! It was so bad Mac's match was canceled on Thursday! Depends on wind patterns and weather, we are usually better than Beijing but not the last few days. I have an app for my phone that updates me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

HAHAHA! I personally would honor Brazilian soldiers if we had entered some big war. I would feel obligated to pay my respects for those who defend me. But that is me in a hypothetical scenario... I just think people should have their own opinions without the need of arguing with one another. Want to pay your respect? Then fine. Dont want to? Then dont do it. Simple as that! I understand your point but I also think that you should be respectful and not attack others who desire to honor the dead. It's those who chose to be disrespectful I have a problem with. You can chose not to honor the day without using it as a day to further your agenda. There are 364 other days of the year for that. KWIM? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I know Kerry, but I wasnt debating if people should honor the ones who fought in the war or not. I have no knowledge nor background to agree or disagree with either one of you. To be quite honest, I really dont care. I was simply quoting a specific line I found hilarious, because it sounded like Americans, French, Britsh would all be completely decimated if it wasnt for your soldiers. But that is not true at all! Of course things would have gone very differently (and in a bad way) for the Allies, but you would all still be here (like Germany, Japan, etc). I understood she was speaking metaphorically, but it was more of an ironic reaction I had... knew you were a smart lad... Just a sore spot with me Love ya tho Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

:x love you Choulo, sorry.... Back to the regular chaos and mayhem I am listening to my son translate the German in the movie U-571 before the subtitles pop up...too cool Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
-
Not to enter the debate here, because I dont know anything about it.... However, that specific quote is really wrong. Did the Germans disappear after losing the war? Did the Japanese? LOL! Life and history books would definitely be different, but you would also definitely be here today!!! Raph, I think she was speaking metaphorically as in life as she knows it. I can see your point but honestly there are a few days of the year I wish people would not chose to fight their political battles. It really hurts when people chose days to honor the dead to argue about whether or not war is right or wrong. Honoring those who defend your country is always right and people should respect that. 11.11 is about remembering those who serve and protect regardless of their country of origin. It is Veterans' Day in the US and is to honor all veterans and servicemen it is on the anniversary of the end of WWI http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/remembrance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembrance_Day

Okay. I'll shut up because you don't agree with me. Xie xie ni (Thank you), Kieran... It means a lot to me Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Kieran, we are all aware of how you feel about war and anything that even remotely honors those who fight for our countries. Do us all a favor and keep your opinions to yourself, please. I am sick of being beaten over the head with them and refuse to bow down and apologize for being grateful to all those who have laid down their lives for my country and to ensure my freedom (and yours). An ounce of gratitude would go a long way for someone who lives in a country benefiting from those freedoms. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

My husband saw it and he said it was good but they rushed the book. He also said if you had not read the book you would never know that. Ender's game is one of his favorite books, so he maybe more critical than someone else. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
