I don't sound like a Chelsea fan pissing on everyone's bonfires lol but Hazard is like every other footballer and it's slowly becoming more evident as his contract is winding down, Courtois is getting absolutely battered for some of his quotes, while Hazard has also said some similar things but everyone is convinced he stays. He's made it clear he wants to go to Madrid just like Thibaut did, the reason why he isn't forcing anything is because Real haven't made the move for him (yet) and he has another 2 years left , if he had any interest in staying, why is he soon going to be in his final year? Is it because our club are penny pinching on a new deal? Nope, because he wants to go somewhere else! Wouldn't surprise me if it's all planned that he doesn't sign any new deal, any club in the world is going to want Hazard at a low fee, everyone saying that Real want Neymar but ask yourselves why would they pay 200m+ for Neymar if you can get Hazard for less than 100.

It is ridiculous to judge him just on that small appearance, I agree but I am not judging him on just that, i'm judging based on the fact that he himself put a question mark on his future early in the summer, he also said over the holidays he will decide, which leaves more question marks for when he returned. You think that because he turned up for training that he is showing he is happy to be here next season? It's not asking for too much in my opinion that he returns and shows some passion or happiness to be here, he didn't do that, looked like he couldn't be bothered to me, definitely not a player trying to impress the manager.

We are only a couple of players away from the best team we've had in a long time for me, if we were to replace Alonso, Luiz and Morata, on paper we match up with anyone imo.

We still don't know, nothing has been confirmed yet but the deal sheet was in and apparently had a medical so think done but it's just a delayed announcement.

I think we have enough to make top 4, I was really worried about our strike force initially but my thoughts are, or hopes rather... in Sarri's more attacking system, our front 3 should be full of confidence and expressing themselves like we've never seen them able to before and this should mean more goals. We've gone from having one of the worst to one of the best midfields of top 6. I believe what Pep has done to the likes of Sterling etc is just through confidence and the fun he allows players to have, Sarri should bring this also if he is what we expect him to be.

Said this earlier but at the back of this loan we could be creating a partnership for Real Madrid next year, if Kovacic and Hazard develop an understanding together and both left us for Real next year it would be devastating. For sure Real Madrid are going to be paying close attention to these 2 I think. For now, all we can do is hope to enjoy them for this season and worry about it next year, what is important right now is we get back where we belong in champions leaguwe and Kovacic will certainly help do that.

It's a tough decision because the younger players are the ones showing better signs in the back 4, I think it will be Azpi, Luiz, Rudgier, Alonso starting but for me Luiz needs to be dropped, Alonso too but this is something we have to live with until January at least. Against City it was a mess, but I think Sarri even said that it was a difficult game for the defenders, this was because our midfield wasn't in the game at all for most part, maybe now we have a more solid midfield, the problems will not be so obvious, we will soon see I guess.

These clubs that think they can sign 30-40m rated players on loan and not even have to pay the wages either lol, I know Bakayoko has been shocking this season but any team that wants his services should be paying his wages, if they want to be cheap we can loan them Josimar Quintero instead

All we know for now is he is not going to a rival premier league team. Until I see Hazard on the pitch, giving 110% I am still cautious, I was slightly concerned with his appearance against Lyon, he showed nothing to indicate he wanted to stay here. I think his head has gone, he thinks, like Thibaut, he is better than the club and was always destined for Real Madrid.

The loan or if we keep him next year should be irrelevant right now, what's important is that Sarri is confident in the team he has to play the way he wants, he said since he came in (after Jorginho) that he needed a midfielder with different characteristics, well here he is. What we don't want is to go in the season with regrets that we didn't come close to getting what he wanted.. we all know what happens in that case, we try to play attractive football and end up looking really sloppy, pull the plug on the manager and get some stubborn manager who sets up to not lose 3-0. What we needed was to do whatever it took to allow Sarri to adapt his system as soon as possible, next year if we have a decent season, make top 4 while playing anything close to the way City do, i'm sure we will be a more interesting prospect for players.

Thing what people are not realising here is we have a new manager and a new style of play to adapt to, for that to happen quickly and with as little teething problems as possible, we need these players that are more developed to it, we can't be developing players and a new style to the team at the same time, while I can see why that would make sense, I think it's too risky.

Just imagine next years speculation lol, Kovacic and Hazard build a great partnership and have a great season here then both end up at Madrid next year , can't bare the thought of it.

We are not going to sign Fekir guys, if anything now we need a proper striker but I don't see it, I think the lack of goals is something we will have to sort out with confidence, hopefully the players start enjoying the games more and in turn come up with more goals.

Hate to say it though but he knows Hazard, probably close with him more than anyone else on our team, he wouldn't be saying these things if he knew Hazard would stay at Chelsea. I'm not at all worried though lately, the last few days just proved that all the years of doubt in the transfer market and ambition of the owners etc was for nothing, I think we will see an unmotivated Hazard this year, it's not going to take much for his head to go down, it didn't anyway but this year even more so. Let's cross this bridge when we come to it though , let's enjoy the season and hope Sarri and the new boys can bring a positive vibe and push the team on for the season - We got rid of the toxic snake and come out better off for it... Crazy that a few days ago we were outsiders for top 4, surely we can't finish lower than spuds/arsenal now?

Problem with us and Liverpool paying this much for goalkeepers (If it's true) , we are going to get slaughtered when they make a mistake. Rather look at the positives though since yesterday it was all bad , thinking we was going to lose a big name and replace him with someone who struggled in his first championship game , to top it off we was coming off the defeat to City, we need something big to happen.

Whoever we get will just show the direction the club is heading, think we're all expecting a Butland or similar, lets hope we're wrong... it's going to be an interesting last couple of days.

Judging the speculation going around, he has not done that until he failed to turn up for training today and the club are acting by the looks of it. Would we have to sign a replacement for 60m early in the window just incase Sir Tibo Courtois didn't come back? Nothing wrong with the club waiting to see what happens for me, we probably wanted to keep him for the last year until he went AWOL, he was happy to do that apparently because he is too good to be benched...

I have been paying attention and not once has he ever made it clear that he wants to leave, he’s always been on the fence saying he loves Madrid and would like to go there but also said he could stay - If that to you is making it clear he was going to come back from holiday and force a move 3 days before our window closes then more fool you. While I agree the club probably could have prepared better for it but that is no excuse for the way he has gone about this.
