There is no excuse to not set up for a win today , I know it's Liverpool but they have not been in the best of form and we should have taken a lot from the Arsenal and Leeds games against them and taken confidence. We were at home, no fans and nothing to lose it's early in the season, we just spent 200m on attacking talents we should not be playing for a draw 2 games in.

We got problems in that we really have to make 2 of Kante Kovacic and Jorginho work I think? I assumed it would be 1 of the 3 starting this season and the problem would be who plays in front as 2 8s but not so sure that's what Frank has in mind now with what we've seen so far. Frank keeps talking about balance but we seem overstacked and no clear plan of how things are going to be done. Is it really a good thing that shape can be so different each week? maybe later on in the season but at this stage I think not.

Kante is not needed so much in a team that will dominate, as Frank is trying to achieve but for me is going backwards.

Maybe over-reacting abit and will feel better in the coming weeks but was so excited for this season but for me there's too much changing going on and we've gone backwards... Frank can't seem to make his mind up for pretty much any position on the pitch, all that's consistent is Mount. Tammy or Giroud, he hasn't got a clue. Clearly it's going to be Werner long term but then what's going on with Tammy he's gone from our main ST to barely getting minutes. Midfield 3, we've seen Jorginho in and out the team, captain to not even on the bench now he's back captain, what the fuck. Kante is all over the place, he's not been the source of the problem but he's not helping in many cases. Papers over the cracks by having a solid performance when we're getting battered. Mount will just fill in wherever we need a player, good option to have but its not the only option Frank... Not all on Frank as most players that have been given the chance haven't taken it but can't help but feel many are being played out of poistion and rotating numerous times througout the game, lets just get a consistent team first. It's kind of good that nobody can predict our lineup and even when we do get the teamsheet there are many ways it could be set up on the pitch... im not sure this is a good thing right now.

Problem is that he is good at the things you don't want to be happening too much during a game anyway, if Kante is excellent , generally its because we are playing poor as a team and are not controlling the game (Not always but generally) when we boss the game and he is mostly on the offence, he slows things down and doesn't offer enough attacking threat, moment in the first half was a good example.

Would have liked to see giroud start over mount or havertz for sure , just that he can't rotate like the others but at this stage do we need the front 3 swapping around surely get them settled in first for a few games then let them get creative after, wouldn't mind if swapping around every 10min was helping but its not just prolonging the consistency of team doing this

Well atleast we all have 1 thing in common, we want to win so let's get behind the team and let's hope for a quality game. COME ON CHELSEA!!!

My point is that we are not playing a 4-2-2-2 system with 2 strikers and only playing 1 of them with 2 others on the bench, No chance we play 4-2-2-2 with Kova Jorgi Kante midfield.

You really think we are playing 4-2-2-2? No chance we play 4-2-2-2 with Kante Jorginho and Kovacic... If that was the case Tammy should just put in the transfer request now hes not going to get in this team lol.

Have you forgot your on a forum, a place where people post their opinions? I never slated Mount , I like him and obviously want him to do well, just have the opinion that in this system it would be better to play someone more of a natural winger I.e. Werner there with Giroud up top or CHO.

that he's not the 2nd best player like you said ... and it's not suprising that there are many people questioning it, we've seen before it doesn't work.

Why do you think Mount is playing on the wing dude, problem solved... ahaha

Got to be honest I did say I wasn't too bothered about CHO being on the bench but after seeing Mount announced on the wing I changed my mind, don't get why you would play a system with 2 wingers and play 2 CAMs there, its the meta in FIFA but not sure its going to be good for us.

We don't need a game of football here at the moment just get on this thread its all the entertainment you can need

Happy with the lineup bar Mount on the wing, much rather see Werners pace there and Giroud in the middle. Don't get me wrong if Mount is on a good day it could be fine , he puts in a shift but not sure he has that final piece.

Rather see him there... just not anywhere near the wings, it's been tried and tested and imo doesn't work. He will bring legs over Jorginho for sure but for me Jorginho gets in with Mount + CHO being able to impact the game better from the bench if needed.

So... he needs to start showing more, not convinced he's done anything to deserve a starting spot, only reason it's even being highlighted is because Pulisic and Ziyech are out but this doesn't automatically mean CHO has to play , the system can be changed to bring in players who will bring more overall to the team.

Christensen over Rudiger is a suprise but think I like it to be honest.

Yea thats why I said they will interchange, Werner will drift wide and 1 of the big men take the CF role. Interesting I think it could work. Otherwise maybe 433 and swap RLC and mount.

Hoping to see RLC tonight over CHO. Nice to see Pulisic start too but don't think he will. Would like to see RLC in midfield but think he will get pushed to the left again, they will interchange atleast. Still no official announcement of the lineup? guess we will see at kickoff lol.
