"REAL DENY NEYMAR OFFER Real Madrid have released a statement this evening denying reports that they have made a bid for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar. The Spanish club say they have no plans on making an offer for the Brazilian this summer. The statement reads: "The relationship between the two clubs is extraordinary so that if at some point Real Madrid were considering signing a PSG player, the first thing the club would do would be to make an official approach." I don't get this - they are so quick to deny a Neymar offer but what about the alleged £150m for Hazard???

We just have to convince Hazard to stay. Harder said than done, I know but we have to try. Real Madrid will be offering big money for him to go and take Ronaldos shadow (he’s never going to break his records or goals so I don’t think he will ever please real fans or become a club legend), or we can show him we want him to stay, offer him a massive contract and he could become a Chelsea and premier league legend.

None of those are even close to replacing Hazard and if we sold him, we would be expected to pay majority of it back out on a replacement like you mentioned here or a player + peanuts deal, none of these you mentioned come close to what Hazard is for this club. it would take years for one of these players to settle and replace him as our main man.

Then they can do one and sign Neymar instead. Coutinho and Dembele set the benchmark, if it is not going to be a world record fee, we shouldn't even pick up the phone and have a conversation.

I liked Conte but you really have to ask the question , if he wasn’t playing games with the board, some of his decisions etc, we could have finished 2nd , he bottled so many games with bad decisions last year , all to prove a point to the board. I don;t agree, you can't buy every player with a view to the next 10 years, if we have limited goals in the team, we need someone to score them simple as that, buying potential is not going to work as we have done that already , we need someone to score goals now. I wouldn't say we pay stupid fees and wages, but for a sensible fee I wouldn't be against it. All top teams need a top striker, and you don't get one buying a teenager - not saying he's the best in the world, but realistically, who else could we get?

I don't think we should go anywhere near him if he's going to be expensive. But think about it, out of all our strikers, he would be the one you have the most faith to finish a chance. If it's not going to have a big impact on our other business in this window, i'd take him.
