It's only a bigger chance because your league is nowhere near as competitive as the Premier League. Say Bayern were playing in England and then ask the same question - but that's irrelevant I just had to make the point (sorry - just messing around adding some banter :D) I'm not an expert and could well be wrong as I haven't gone researching but I don't believe this "FIFA regulation 18.3" is true, so what you are saying is that you can negotiate with any player you want, as long as you tell the parent club that your going to do it first? Surely you would need PERMISSION from Chelsea, not just to INFORM them. You are speculating, unless you have seen the contract that Chelsea have offered him then how do you know he's being offered a more important role from Bayern? You are speculating. You know absolutely nothing but what you have read in the newspaper, the same newspapers that have been making bullshit headlines that he is being urged to join Bayern by various players when in fact they just said he should decide what is best for him. I'm sorry but since when do journalists get to decide that Bayern is the best place for him? And please show me how he has gone to lengths to make this move happen as you describe? Again, your reading rubbish in the newspaper mate. Just because your club says they are interested in a player does not give you any power whatsoever to make a decision on where he ends up, unfortunately for you the decision is up to Chelsea and Callum, not Bayern.
-
You are forgetting he is at Chelsea , not like we are a small club that doesn't compete for trophies. And how, under any regulations, can a contract can be negotiated while he is already under contract with another club that have said he is not for sale. Also, you say that he's been offered a more important role, you know nothing about what he is being offered by us or by your club, you are just speculating .... For you to say he's being promised more by Bayern is just ridiculous. It's in Callums best interests to let this play out as he is doing to try and get better terms from the club, he's hardly going to come out and say he's not interested in Bayern it's the only power he has in trying to negotiate a better deal with Chelsea.
-
Might be in the minority here but I don't believe any of this crap until something happens. Don't believe any of it... 2 months ago, Callum is posting on Instagram "A dream come true, buzzing to get my first goal and assist for the team I’ve been playing with from the age of 8 years old, hopefully many more opportunities to come" etc What could have happened in this time that suddenly he can't wait to get out of the club and it's got to be done this month, only thing I can see is that behind the scenes he's been given promises from Bayern, which they shouldn't be doing.
-
He's been doing this for ages yet Pogba hits 1 ball to Rashford and social media goes mental. Crazy world.
-
Yes it is certainly the first thing we need a new ST, even City have problems with teams that sit back but the difference is they have Aguero andmore creativity from their midfielders... ours just want to keep the ball just lately, I’m not Sarri so I can’t give you the reason why , wether it’s the lack of movement from the front or just the tempo that needs to change but something needs to change that’s for sure.
-
I agree with this to an extent but I do think the result at Spurs made Sarri take a slightly different approach to games, since then we have looked defensively more stable but everything has slowed right down, the games before we met Spurs, we played with a little more tempo and even then Sarri said we were still too slow in his post match interviews, now he doesn't really say much about us needing to play quicker it's more focus on the "defensive phase". The players do not seem to have freedom because they are stuck to a system of having to be available for possession, Jorginho is a good example but all the players are doing it because it is how they are being coached, there are many times Jorginho could have gone forward to offer something but he will always come backwards so he is available for the pass, I understand there are positives to playing this way but for this to work effectively we need to speed things up. All the players still need to make adjustments to play in this system, even Hazard. We have too many players who want to hold the ball and dribble etc. As Zola described it, playing in a Sarri team is like an Orchestra, if 1 player isn't doing his job or in the right position the team will suffer. We can only hope now the mid week games are cooling off that Sarri will have more time on the training ground and sort these things out and get us playing the tempo needed to open up these teams that park the bus.

It's a good job the club isn't run by you lot lmao
-
Let's play Man City again and only swap Willian for Malcom then. It's all matter of opinion, of course and I see i'm in the minority here ... i'm not trying to say Willian is not replaceable and we shouldn't sell him, Just don't see any benefit on selling him if we are only bringing in a "CURRENTLY" inferior replacement for the sake of 10-15million?
-
A player that starts almost every game this season, is an important player in my opinion. Just because he has under performed in terms of goals/assists, does not mean he hasn't played a big role in the first half of the season. Sure, he hasn't scored 40 goals but he is still a big part of the team every week, replacing him with someone who probably can't even speak English mid January is not something i'm getting excited about to be honest. As I said, if it was 50m cash then it's another story.
-
He's started pretty much every game this season, That tells me he is one of the more important players like it or not this is a fact. Performances are irrelevant.
-
50m cash i'd take all day but Malcom + cash totalling 50m? even if they were to value Malcom around 35m.. Effectively we'd be left with a downgrade + 15m cash, I don't care that he is younger, for the near future, Malcom is not going to upgrade Willian and a move like this would knock us backwards. Janurary signings are too risky and like it or not, Willian is a big player for us.
-
Reading too many newspapers.
-
So Option 1 is your answer. The reasons WHY , all benefit Chelsea, so jog on with your terms and conditions lol.
-
It's a massive problem that people on TV don't seem to understand the rules of the game though. The fact that Sky are reporting VAR "successfully" gave them a pen, then Sarri brings his laptop that shows Kane is CLEARLY offside, he is well offside going by the rules, look how far forward he is leaning, yet on Sky analysis it's a clear pen, even at half time someone was saying its a clear red. Unbelievable. Why draw a line across the feet when the line should be drawn at the "usable" body part furthest forward i.e. head/shoulders. Ridiculous. VAR makes these debates worse lmao, every argument ends in VAR is always right when clearly it isnt.
-
Worried about this system, Jorginho, hasnt even had an assist all season, Cesc would be looking at double figures by now if he was in the team. I get we are in more control of the game .... but are we really? We know better than anyone over the years that finishing the game with 60% possession means fuck all. Kante, although you can see improvement , is not effective playing in this system forming triangles on the wings etc, it doesn't suit him at all and no matter how much he improves, I hate to say it but there are worse players who will do a more effective job in that position in terms of goal threat. Sarri and all his superstitions... he needs to give his head a wobble. Too stubborn from the looks of things.
-
I think England and the need for results has got to Sarri, we are playing nothing like how we were the first few games of the season (and even then he kept saying there was a need to up the tempo even more) we're playing nothing close to that now, everything has slowed down a level. It feels that the trashing to Spurs really hit him and since we have gone back to basics and a defend first mentality. Unfortunately, Kante just doesn't work in this system, he is never going to offer enough of an attacking threat needed in that position, you have to credit Kante for this you can see he is trying but it just does not suit him. While this half has not been as bad as last time we played them, we don't seem anymore threatening than last season even though we are supposed to be playing this new style, we just look lost to me at the moment and I only see things going backwards and not forwards with this system.
-
Exactly what I expected would happen, we're going to have this speculation up until the end of August. He should be offered a contract extension with clauses such as if we fail to make Champions League and Real Madrid come in and he could go - until he signs a contract (which I don't believe he will), we're stuck with this speculation, it will even continue on through to January I think. If he continues his form from his cameo yesterday it wouldn't surprise me to see a bid come in before the spanish window shuts. Courtois has already planted the seed.
-
He struggled with the physical nature today and against City , he even made a couple of dodgy clearances. I think Sarri realised this and changed something because 2nd half was a different game and he was playing 1-2s everywhere. You can clearly see what he is trying to do but he has to adapt to the pressure and physical demands of the premier league, he won't get so much time here as he did in Italy. Wait till we play Mourinho and he has Fellaini man marking him , that will be the test. Promising signs but still some work to do, he looks like he has the character to get better though for sure. The only worry I have is that he is the one providing back 4 protection...
-
This is exactly what we will see for a couple of months at least. Very shaky but hopefully we have the players that can paper the cracks during transition, when we come to the business end of the season hopefully we are ready for it and a more solid unit.
-
We don't know he's preferring Moses to CHO as winger guys calm down, for all we know Moses could be a RB/LB backup lol, we have no idea how Sarri intents to use him.
-
Every one suprised with Emerson and CHO not on the bench but who's places to do they take? Moses for CHO for sure makes sense but don't see Moses suddenly being dropped out the squad. He is more versatile than CHO at the moment. I assume Kovacic is going to replace Barkley who will then go to the bench but there is no place for RLC then.
-
Suprised that there is no CHO or Emerson on the bench, no Kovacic isn't a suprise tbh . RLC is on the bench but you can only assume that spot will go to Kovacic who still start ahead of Barkley.
-
Thinking about it, it;s not really worth it, with a shaky defence and probably going to be under more pressure than usual, is it worth risking him playing a game and having a potential shocker, would kill his confidence. EDIT: Ok, he starts lol, brave move from the boss.
-
Lol sorry and obviously i'd love him to stay but i'm not convinced that because he turned up for training he's happy to stay here
-
The thing is guys, we wouldn't be having this conversation now if he really wanted to stay....
