  1. Chelsea Shakhtar Donetsk Copenhagen Žilina That would do nicely
  2. Is it me, or does this guy seem to be a disruptive character, he wanted to leave Portsmouth in January because he would be on the bench as soon as David James was fit again. Then he joins Stoke and because he wants first team football but complains again 6 months later because once again he complains about being a bench warmer. Yet strangely the club that has seem to captured his heart when an offer was made was Chelsea, who undoubtedly will put him on the bench anyway because of Petr Cech.
  3. Lets just hope it does more good then harm for the players. These stupid marketing tours usually tire players before the season starts.

  5. To be honest with Ramires coming in, along with Yossi as a regular squad player; as well with Essien now back to full health - Matic won't have much playing time. Lets just hope its a loan to an English club.
  6. The difference between Stoke and Wigan is that Stoke are much tighter in defense.... usually.
  7. Think about it, he has not got much chance of playing at Left wing or at least Left back with Malouda and Ashley Cole continuing their excellent form, and it seems if Malouda were to say get injured then Kalou or Sturridge seem to be Carlo's choice of filling the gap. Also its seems Carlo has some hope in PvA developing as a quality LB so that could stop Zhirkov going into their and if Kakuta is to feature more the left wing seems to be his more natural position. Hence this equals less chances for Zhirkov getting playing time and certainly less chance to play at left wing - last season he only had 10 starts. If I were personally close to him like a family/close friend or his agent, I would defiantly voice the opinion of moving clubs to get more playing time to him.
  8. I honestly think he will leave at the end of season, and maybe even January.
  9. I think the problem is that he never actually joined the first team because he never got a work permit, so while under contract at Chelsea has always had to go out on loan - which might mean there is no official word on it if I'm not mistaken.
  10. Well according to several sources and wiki, it says that we have departed. I know for the last three years he has been denied a work permit and apparently was denied one when offered to go to Fulham
  11. There will probably be a bidding war between Man City and Real Madrid in a couple of years time. With Madrid winning because it is more 'sunny'.
  12. Well that is a bit flawed as Rajkovic is no longer under contract - he is a free agent.
  13. Every season there seems to be an underlining theme from fans that has a huge effect on how fans view the season. Whether it was when Avram Grant was getting the sack of the 2007/08 season to the 'Will Carlo bottle it' of the 2009/2010 season. Even if we retain our premier league crown this season, it seems this season will be judged on how much so called 'youth' we play in every match. This was indicated in the first game of the PL when many were shocked that Carlo had the audacity to not put Kakuta on the bench and were frothing at the mouth in anger when Kalou came on instead of Sturridge. It seems that throughout the season there will be a barrage of angry fans complaining that we did not use Kakuta or Bruma in a match when 3-0 up or why Matic or Sturridge did play a part in a match against a so called 'mid table' club. It going to be extremely annoying that there will always be a question from someone every day about 'When is Kakuta going to start every game for every match'. Yet ironically some of these fans that in some ways want us to do an Arsenal and put a majority of the team on the field as youth; were complaining that we letting go of 'too much experience' in players like Ballack, Riccy and Joe Cole - even thought that means it gives more youth a chance. Hypocrites.
  14. I got a D in English Language & Literature, and I got a B in History, Sociology and Psychology - so much better then expected!
  15. To be honest I'm going into my college in a very pessimist mood; expecting D grades and E grades, mainly as a self-defense mechanism to disappointment. I have a lack of confidence in exams ever since I got a D in my first AS exam in January.
  16. This has to be the most tense and tedious saga since the Essien fiasco.
  17. To be honest this is the only chance I think we will have to sign him. If we don't then either in a couple of years time he would start attracting attention from all the top clubs including Madrid and Citeh, which means we won't try to compete in the bid battle. Or he will have that so called contract upgrade which would rise his buy out cause to about £40 million, and as we know the board would simply not go up there. Especially as we have not even been in £20 million+ deals for years after Shevchenko.
  18. I was never convinced that he would come anyway... since there has been a huge campaign from day one harassing him to not go to Europe. Plus all the reports are conflicting with each other.
  19. I think he has a bit of a thigh strain
