It is the conclusion which we all knew would one day come down to, either bite the bullet and sell Cech for Courtious or cash in on Thibaut and keep Cech, then search for another keeper to be the long-term replacement. It will be a sad day, but imo, the best scenario is to sell Cech for a high amount and bring in Thibaut - using the money to help bring in either: a better option for a back-up, or towards the new striker that will come in the summer.

I think one more defensive player will come in, in the sense of Zouma, and then hopefully with the sale of Marin, Moses, Torres, we can gain a player of high calibre as such of Falcoa as well as bringing in players from the youth such as Troare and Piazon to add to rotation.

If Jose wanted a player of Mario quality, then fine, But the fact he has failed to reach the potential he has with the above video, it doesn't, imo a Jose player. A forward for Jose is someone that works for that works for the WHOLE attacking line (ie. hold up play) as well as scores goals, ATM Torres and Etto'o add that without that element. I think we will seek that kind of player during the summer transfer period, and will add to the attacking depth (hopefully with Torres and Etto'o/Ba leaving for Lukaku and Costa/Falcoa to add to the striker situation).

I see him in a DLP kind of role, with potential for strolling forward. Would also agree with the idea that Romeu might not be grand for the team, but has an equal to array of talent which can be nurtured and turned to offer different styling in a position which could be tactically decisive in games/matches.

Intriguing to see what kind of role he will play next season - Frank will be gone (or even a coach? ), Essien's gone, and there still could be the outing of Mikel also. With him, Matic and Romeu (??) battling it out for the placement alongside Rambo, would be nice to see which one plays best alongside him

Essien used to play in that kind of role. Started off as a Cb, but worked as a DMC, but played RB a few times.
