Well, with pre-season there is always a few new transfers. Some coming in, and some, sadly, going out. But with the few threads we have, we can only hope for good results for the up-coming season, and then evaluant the new transfers and see if they are a welcome addition to the team.

Same as Carlo's i think, next summer.

No, it is more an restriction Chelsea have put on themselves since Anelka's deal, and the most likely deal he would get would a one year contract with an extension option if the club and player feel like it, or something among those lines.
-
If eh comes here, that would be superb dispite the cost, of course that is if it isn't 50+ million. But if i would have been given a choice between Bale and Coentrao, i would choose the latter. IF we did sign Bale i would expect Malouda and Zhirkov to be going the opposite way.

Henry, hans down, with Zola second. I have to say on thing, Wenger did find a real gem in Henry, especially since he started off as a midfeilder (a bit like Anelka, i think). Roy Keane is foreign? Never knew that
-
Why do people see him as a left back and not a left winger? I say yes, all but means Zhirkov would be leaving, but it might actually give Malouda a kick up in the arse for a whole season rather then the end.

Dream car: Noble M400 Small Britsh unbelieveable car. Performs to the standard of an Enzo and costs about the same as a Porsche 911. A fuckin' beaut of a car also.

Stop living in the fucking past and starting think about NOW. What are you a Liverpool fan?

Sorry i can't take this thread with a pinch of salt, since it was just last season where we recorded wins as high as 7-1 three times, and even ended the season with a 8-0 win with a team that somehow has escaped relegation for too long. A team that scores 103 goals isn't a team that is known as 'beatable' but quiete the oppostie.

I disagree, due to the simple fact that no-one can be the greatest player 'in the world'. On the basis that one player would have to play in a league with every football playing nation in the world, and exceel. He had a tremendous talent, 100% certain, and he was a great player in his home country with defenders of the same origin or playing the same kind of game. Whose to say that one player can go to another league and exceel in the same manner? The image of Shevchenko's tenure at Stamford Bridge comes to mind. He has a distinction as of one of the best and talented players to have emerged onto the international scene and in Brazilian football, and with a gobsmacking record - but not the greastest of all time or in the world, any whose to say there isn't another player that will meet and excell Pele's achievements in the up-coming decades?

What brillaint goals, here's hoping he can scores some in a Chelsea shirt

The main problem is see if it is a reacurrance is the longing effect it could cause, ie Hutchinson. The dude had probelms with his knees and in the end it ended his career when he looked like he could have made something, like becoming the first player to fight for a first team position who was bred from the academy. Essien out for the rest of the season does sound melodramatic ith how late it is, but that is newspapers for you. I am sure we can make something with the whole 2 DMC's we have used in the last couple of games with Dvaid Luiz alongside Mikel. Luiz would be mint in that position, but that depends on Alex being healthy or if Carlo wants to use Ivan as a CB or RB. Otherwise, iw oudln't mind the traditional 1 DMC and 2 AMC's, with Ramires and Lampard running forward, or even using Anelka or Malouda in that role. -
He has talent, shown whenever he starts for us and even at Bolton. Gice the guy what he deserves next season, and i am 100% sure he would become a English international.

This the ONLY Chelsea forum i am registered too, purely due to the fact it is so AWESOME! To think i found this after some EskWeston videos on YouTube and found the core of awesomeness that is this site. Many thanks for Jim, Alex, Steve and all the other 'staff' who keep it in brilliant condition - day in, day out. TC also has a brilliant atmosphere also because of the members and their personal opionions which normally expand the discusions we have. All in all, a wonderful atmosphere supported by the best Forum around

Roman builds a time machine, and hoping he arrives just in time before Jose leaves Stamford Bridge before the news broken. In an instant Roman does his top secret idea to keep Jose at Chelsea, and chance the course of the future. He grabbs a stereo and rises it above his head, and clicks play..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BXR5dgRmO0 But then he realises he has made a sudden accident and has actuall arrived at the wrong destination and wrong time. Instead he is inside a house and infront is a Chelsea man, but someone completely different.... And finally the whole scenario about why a man decided to play the rest of his career in the reserves instead of playing in a first team in some shitty league was revealed! THE END!!!

Benayoun can make something out of nothing, ie if he can see a pass he makes it, if he see space where there could be an attack he makes it, but there isn't he moves the ball into a area when he can find one. He is skillful as well as having vision, something which we lacked imo even with Cole and Deco here.

Kara Tointon. The only that came from Dream Team worth mentioning. :eyebrows:
-
I am using him as a distinction of one player brought in with an large amount of praise and expectation based upon his immediate form in the reserves but never could fathom the same form when on the given oppertunity, But, of course that isn't a conenction which you probably couldn't straight away concieved - my bad for that one
