If he wanted to actually come, he would have ridden the rumour to the wall, or kept quiet. With that statement i doubt he would come to England, and would more likely stay in Belgium or go to spain. I see him as a FUTURE star who could get the odd apearance now, and then break through during Drogba's final years, establishing himself as the third choice striker and then replacing Torres when his time comes and start a partnership with the more experienced Sturridge.

I believe in free will - that one individual may believe what they want, can be what they want, and do what they want to the point that it doesn't harm another human being. Another persons sexuality isn't going to physically hurt anyone once, and neither would another persons belief or interest if they influence them to do actions that is just and unharmful.

Banayoun offers more to the game then Lampard, imo. He has the creative spark that we need, especial if Carlo goes with both Didi and Nando up-front. Lampard shots normally equals goals, but his all-round game hasn't been 100% in the last couple of games. It is a decision really based on what Carlo thinks is the best game plan and tactic, personally i would play the 4-2-3-1, dropping Lampard to the bench, or playing in a 1-1-3-1 kind of formation in the midfeild.
