Ronaldo is paid a pittance for what his real worth is. If you actually look at his shirt sales figures world wide and the profit Real get after Addidas and everyone else is paid then it really isn't that much. He signed for Madrid in the 2009 summer window and by april 2010 he already sold 1.5 million shirts in Madrid alone lol, then many millions more worldwide, the club gets 40% of that. He's probably sold in excess of 5 million pieces of Ronaldo memorabilia since arriving at Real.

I really didn't think he had a future at this club I thought Patrick would of gone on to be the better player but this guy has fought tooth and nail and he's an extremely viable option on that left wing.

My point was the physical players we had in the past would of forced in roads into their penalty area and they wouldn't of given up the fight like they did last night. We can't expect the same result with this new team because they are a different animal to what we had in the past and that is why it was the worst final defeat in the last 20 years for Chelsea football club. When this team plays well they will rip the opposition a new one but when they are having a bad game they will get a good spanking.

We have to accept that we're going to get fucked over in certain games purely because of the players we have. We don't have a team full of physical fighters who can win league titles and European cups with pure physicality anymore. Players like Mata, Hazard,Torres, will have off days and when they do they don't really have much to offer, the power based players like Ballack, Essien and Drogba could have a physical battle if they were not firing on all cylinders when it came to football skill. These players are different and they don't have a plan B so there will be games when we get trounced like tonight. Athletico were the better team DEAL WITH IT !

Conspiracy

Jimmy was a full blooded striker. Jimmy was like Papis Cisse you couldn't see him playing in any other role and lets not act like his partnership with Guddy wasn't a very unselfish one !

If it's a loan and we get in another striker like Remy then I would be fine with it because he would walk into their side but selling a 22 year old England international for 15-20 is seriously bad economics !

This transfer would really wind me up. He's only 22 and he's got the raw materials to be a fantastic player, no way would I want 20 million for that I would rather have the player. He'll go to Liverpool and he'll get an avalanche of goals and we'll look like total for doing it. I want us to bloody add strikers to our roster not let them go, please don't let this happen !

I think revenge is a bitter way of looking at it. The roles were reversed lol we absolutely battered them in 2009 and Drogba missed a glut of chances and we should of had multiple penalties and the game was a complete mess ! Last season they absolutely ripped us a new one for around 70 mins at the bridge, the amount of times they got through on goal and hit the post and missed one on ones was shocking and the greatest player of all time missed a penalty at the Nou camp when we had 10 men.

That is one of my biggest problems with the whole Torres situation. If we sign a big striker there is a chance he could crumble like he did when Drogba was here, we can't cater that much food towards one player to the detriment of the team. Loic Remy is a very good striker too, he scores 1 goal in 2 games in France and he's a pacy finisher and he would really push Torres !

He's a better player then Moses and I would of been happier to have signed him but Moses is very young and he has potential !

I would of liked it if we had him available for tomorrow. He absolutely destroyed Newcastle last season when Wigan beat them 4-0, he got 2 goals and he kept running past Coloccini and Santon like they were not even on the pitch. His turn of pace would of been a big advantage because Newcastle really struggled against Sturridge's pace last season.

He's got to win me over because I'm not 100% sure about this transfer. He has got brilliant raw materials but it's up to him to put it all together like a young Micheal Essien or a young Lampard did when they joined Chelsea at a similar age.

I hope he can give us the correct balance of attack and defense. We haven't had a good right back for years !
