Yeah we need to get as much service to him as possible because he has a good strikers instinct he just hits it first time and that is exactly what keepers don't like of all skill levels.

I want Moses to play more often because I can see his direct running and good crossing ability aiding Demba Ba in the long run a bit like Valencia for Man Utd. We need a direct runner in our squad and Moses is that man because at the moment we have too many playmakers who want the ball to feet and that will not help our strikers. Marin can potentially do that job too... Oscar-Mata-Hazard are all ball players and its affecting our overall team game. You can have 2 of them then have a direct player to occupy that third slot Moses/Marin ! The only player Mata tries to play it through to is an onrushing Ramires who is starting his run from about 150 yards out. What we can do is Remove Oscar from the right wing put Moses there and remove one of the players in the midfield either Ramires or Mikel and play Oscar who in the centre of Midfield that would be perfect and well balanced.

Maybe it's because Drogba/Lampard patched up our weaknesses so much since 05-06 that now we don't really have those type of incredibly driven players to constantly save our bacon anymore. Those flair players we have now are really good..... the likes of Hazard and Mata are superb but they can't do anything if they're not playing well but Lampard and Drogba even if they were not playing well they were still a danger because they had incredible drive to just dig out a win away from home when it mattered. In short we've basically tried to change our system too fast and we've paid the price with a shitty season. We've had a shit team since 2005-2006 and we only won the league in 2009-2010 because Drogba and Lampard powered us to it through their goals. We have to be honest with ourselves and say we've woeful since that season and that is a fact ! Since then we've relied on individual brilliance and now those players that constantly saved us are gone and in Lampards case basically retired.

We need to bring Lukaku back and then bring another striker then we'll be good for the next season. Demba Ba and Romelu can rotate like Didier did with guddy back in 04-05 then give Romelu as much support as possible like we did with Didier and I'm telling you he'll be an absolute monster. He's learning quickly and he's improving all the time let's not do another Sturridge please and lets actually give this guy all the support he need's. I don't want another club like Liverpool getting the fruits of our labour we need to learn from the sturridge mistake.

Newcastle have a great transfer policy and it's something that is going to develop them as a club in the next 5 years. They clearly have a very good European scouting network and it's clearly not as easy as what some people on this thread have suggested otherwise clubs like Everton and co would of done the same.

No I think he's a brilliantly balanced player but my point is he's not at his destination yet hence why I think building the team around him now would be a huge mistake. He's a good dribbler but not to the extent were he can do it on a consistent basis not yet anyway. He's only 21 and he has fantastic raw material's but he needs to develop and we can't build the team around him now maybe in future though.

Hazard at the moment doesn't have anything that special in his locker that would suggest that building a team around him would be of any benefit. Hazard is good at most things in terms of his attacking play but there is nothing there that is out and out special. When we seen Robben break through at Groningen you could see that his ability to dribble and breeze past players was going to be the spring board for him to be a world class player in future. To build a team around one player like Riquelme he has to provide something outstanding for you to do that and Roman did that with his vision.@Blionheart what skill does Hazard provide that he is the top 3 in the world at doing ? He'll probably develop something but he sure doesn't have it now ! By the way at the moment Oscar is the first name on the team sheet period.

I have always said that Drogba had more of an impact on the team in his first 2 seasons. He opened so much space with his back to goal for the likes of Robben, Duff and Lampard to almost casually walk into and score. He sacrificed himself for the team and it worked brilliantly, when he played more for himself in the 3rd season he got an avalanche of goals but we won nothing which says a lot. Chelsea fans that say he was poor in his first 2 seasons were probably not Chelsea fans back then because if they were they would of noticed that his battling ram style was integral to our performances and yes that 4-1 at Anfield was probably his best display in a Chelsea shirt.

I agree with that Leif, they both give each other what the other lacks. We looked solid in the middle and it gave the front 4 a chance to play their game and to penetrate, Ramires should never play on the right again his bursting runs are best from deep. This is the end of Frank Lampard in my opinion that is it for him if he finds his way back into the team again then I think an investigation will have to be launched by the supporters hehe.

Drogba would of come in handy in this one . Honestly speaking though I think this is a hard game because they are a lot more established in the type of game we want to play. We have to watch Carzola and Diaby because all it takes is a lung busting run from Diaby and you are on the back foot and Chelsea is a horrible team when they're on the back foot. The good thing is their strikers are not very good but then again neither is Torres in all honesty.

He improves this light weight Chelsea team because he's a very strong player a bit like Valencia, he's the type of player that can tussle with a centre back if he makes a run into the box. I always felt with players like Wright Phillips and Robben that if a player like Rio got in contact with them then Rio would just shove them to one side but not with Moses he'll have it with Rio. My friend (wigan fan) was telling me that he's similar to Valencia in that he has a brilliant cross and powerful surging runs he said that for a 21 year old we've got a real player who can hurt teams away from home were there is space on the counter attack and he's very unselfish.
