What makes me laugh about stuff like this is the source is the mirror, a tabloid source that that is instantly dismissed when it comes to a huge transfer target but then is held as gospel when it comes to stories like this.. OK, it maybe right, but it's people thoughts to jump the gun and mud sling that really make me laugh.

Personally, I will wait for official confirmation.

Patience, the transfer window isn't even open yet.

Try not to look too far ahead in a window that isn't even open yet. There are a lot of things that will go on but it's easy to get caught up into what may, or may not happen. Trust Jose and the board to get it right and if they don't come the end of the window then we can start to worry. We are starting this window with 50M in the jar from the sale of Luiz plus whatever else we envisioned on spending. I'm excited for the summer window because I trust everyone behind the scenes to get it right, not only that but to address the shortfalls of last season by buying the right players and delivering back the title to The Bridge.

This lad is a very established and solid full back with mass amounts of experience behind him. I was speaking with an Atleti fan on another forum and he said that we will be getting one of the most consistent LB's in Europe if we purchase him, and he also said he will be gutted to see him leave. I have no worries about this if it happens. The lad is a very good footballer.
